They have the ability to make to playoffs. This team has been in some kind of funk.

I think last year they played over their heads and got in. This year, I think they are a playoff team, but not playing like it.

So how do you get out of this funk...coaching change? similar to like the Penguins last year...Or just one of our leaders need to step up and take control?

The Jackets aren't ready for a coaching change. The leaders do need to step up. Perhaps Captain Nashs' mind is focused on winning gold at the olympics.

It's a randomly timed team-wide slump. It's magnified due to a lot of players being ineffective at the same time, as opposed to a different type of slump which involves a smaller number of players cycling through their own personal ones.

Better to get it out of the way now. But then, I said last year at Christmas that the CBJ would go at least 10 games over .500 the rest of the way....I underestimated them.

What I meant was that do you think he's capable of playing at a high level consistently and be a dominant frachise goalie? Or was he just really hot last year and this is the level of play he's really at?
