It wasn't my pick, but I'll take him.

Or it was my pick, but the order is wrong on the other thread.

Either way, fuck you.

It's a high-risk pick. If Louisville does anything, two things will have to happen.

1. They will have to score above the 40's.
2. Russ Smith will have to score because nobody else can.

Then again, Louisville could score in the 50's and lose to Davidson...or they could make the Elite 8 or Final Four.

Speaking of my list, I guess I should update it. By my count I'm down to 7 players, and I'm still 11 picks away. I'm probably out as soon as this Iona/BYU game ends, so you might be doing the honors for me again.

And if I don't get the list updated feel free to screw me over.

This is why I wanted to get into 8-10 rounds.

It's fun watching the players who make serious runs and make it a wide open contest.

You know there will be a few double-digit seeds in the Sweet 16 and will make this contest really interesting.

Haha yeah I only have 13 guys left on my list. I don't think I'm going to get around to updating tonight I'll just have to wing it for rounds tomorrow if all of those players get taken.

Also Durkie you're up if you are still online.

Appreciate the work, laley.

Besides mine own I like:

Goon, Stephen, and Chicago's. I love Laley's first 3 picks not too high on his others though :P

They need to prove it in the NCAA, but I really think Vanderbilt is primed for a run. This is their year. They have a 3-year monkey on their back. It started with the heartbreak loss to Georgetown in 2006. Stallings hasn't had a team capable since then. With Syracuse weakened, that strengthens that bracket even more for OSU, Vandy and Wisconsin. Vandy and OSU I thought were nice match-ups with Syracuse too.

Harvard is a great match-up for Vandy. Wisconsin would be a grinder, but very winnable. Then you would have Syracuse, without Melo, against a very experienced and perimeter-oriented Vandy team with the best shooter in the Tournament. Then Ohio State, who is almost a mirror image of Vandy (probably 5% better).

I guess what I'm saying is at pick 20, John Jenkins arguably had possible top 5 overall value if you have Vandy winning a few games. He's going to average 25 PPG in the tournament, IMO.

Azu I agree about Vandy... Although a team you left out who I think is even more primed to make a run from that region is FSU. I think this is the year they really break through in the tourny.

I love the underdog and midmajor story a little too much, so thus why I only have 1 player on a team higher than a 6 seed, haha.

Risk Reward. CJ Leslie is putting in 20 a game right now, and I have them winning 2 (playing in 3) and I like UNLV and their shots to get to the Elite 8. Colorado, Baylor, and Duke. They can match up with them and beat any of them. After I went safe with Dixon and Appling on my 2nd picks, I went risky on the next two. If they each play in 3 games (heck even 2), I will be looking very good. If they both lose RD 1...yikes.

Also, I am about to go to bed. I have no picks till Goon, and it doesnt look like thats gonna happen tonight. No one has to make a pick till 9am (though Durkie is up at 1:49am). So if anyone is on here then and he hasnt picked, go ahead and make a good choice for him. After that though, Wizurd and anyone following has till 9am.

Alright well I'm heading to bed... After Durkie makes his pick. Sportswiz wants Patric Young- Florida or Scott Wood- NCST if Durkie takes Young.

Hopefully I have 2 guys that make the Final 4 and 1 guy makes it to the championship like last year.
I really need VCU to knock of WSU in the first round.
