I'd argue OSU over KU. With Big Ten being easily the toughest conference, if they win regular season and tourney, same record, similar RPI and SOS, I think OSU should get the nod. Plumlee was out of bounds defending that last inbounds pass though, and Curry probably traveled. Would have been nuts if that went in.

If it wasn't for that pesky head to head matchup I'd agree with you...centralbucksfan;1111698 wrote:I'd argue OSU over KU. With Big Ten being easily the toughest conference, if they win regular season and tourney, same record, similar RPI and SOS, I think OSU should get the nod. Call me bias

That game really doesn't mean much considering it was at KU and OSU best player didn't play. Be similar to an arguement about OSU/Duke if they were close. It was at OSU.slingshot4ever;1111706 wrote:If it wasn't for that pesky head to head matchup I'd agree with you...
Its the overall resume. And OSU is right there with any of them for that 4th #1 seed.

I counted 6 steps. The refs gave duke a chance to win, but the dukies couldn't get it done.Curry took 4-5 steps lol.

The only bright side about Duke losing today is that I don't have to watch them play again tomorrow.
Today's performance was one of the most spiritless I've seen defensively from the Blue Devils in a long time. Even in the humbling Season to Forget of 2007, Duke's relatively pedestrian core of DeMarcus Nelson, Jon Scheyer, Dave McClure and Lance Thomas played with undeniable heart. There was no heart in the second half today on the defensive side of the ball for the Blue Devils. Florida State got every stray ball they wanted. And that was the difference. That and Duke might as well have been shooting over the Great Wall of China. The Seminoles played just brilliant perimeter defense.
It was not to be. Go Noles.

I didn't think duke was even in consideration for a 1? They were a two lock after the L to Carolina. Think they still get a 2, now prob in the top overall seed bracket ( Kentucky) making them the 8th overall seed.
1's Kentucky Syracuse Mizzou UNC
2 big ten champ, Kansas, big ten 2, Duke

Is Florida State just a really bad match-up for UNC, or what's going on here?

FSU deserves a #2 seed if they win this game. They would have beaten UNC and Duke twice.

I don't think that's enough. If they do win this game I think they should get the 3 seed in the South.Prescott;1112344 wrote:FSU deserves a #2 seed if they win this game. They would have beaten UNC and Duke twice.

Great win for FSU. Carolina waited too long to actually match the Noles' intensity. Completely disgusted with the shots that Carolina got on their last two possessions, but FSU played great D.
Time to get focused and run off six straight.

I think Florida State is still a 4. In my opinion Baylor, Marquette, and Michigan definitely have better resumes. Florida State has 4 great wins, but less overall top-50 and top-100, too many bad/questionable losses (BC, Clemson, Princeton), and did essentially nothing OOC, losing their 4 biggest games.
FSU, Georgetown, and Louisville are probably the 3 teams with a shot at that last #3, and I'm guessing it's Georgetown.

FSU is a 3 or 4. UNC is a 2. They will probably get a 1, but they shouldn't.

FSU is either really good or bad, not consistent
