Let that sink in for a moment. That wraps up every inch of the life, career and bravery of Andrew Breitbart.

Wouldn't surprise me.

“If the tapes come out, he died of a heart attack,” the caller said. “If the tapes don’t come out, they whacked him.”

Maybe you need to research what bravery and fearless means. Someone reporting the political news, uncovering scandals, etc. is just doing the job of an investigative journalist. Not some sort of brave and fearless hero. Geez....

And this makes him fearless and brave how? Sounds like he was just doing his job as part of the political media.

dwccrew;1102590 wrote:I hate to hear about anyone dying, however, how was this guy "fearless"? Give me a break. So he gave some speeches, did some commentary and wrote some articles. He was a political activist. Big deal, there is a bunch of them on both sides of the fence. My prayers to his family, but I can't stand when someone dies how the media and people go on and on about how "brave" and "fearless" they were when all they did was give some talking points as a talking head.

I was commenting on the bolded part of your statement. I never said he was fearless or brave for what he did. I know he was a marked man for his beliefs and the work he did, that is undeniable.

I hear that a columnist for Rolling Stone penned an article titled "Death of a Douche" about Breitbart.

How classy.

I apologize then for misinterpreting your post, although I still view him as a talking political figure that did above average investigative journalism.

That is fucking lame. Dude that wrote that is a douche. No matter whether you agreed with his political beliefs or not, show some respect for the dead.

A fellow GA brother. Makes you think doesn't it? Some alumnae from GA flew in all the way from Fla and California for his viewing and service
That actually doesn't surprise me. When we went there, there were only about 70 guys in a class, so you knew everybody pretty well. ...even more for me as I was a resident student. Living with them made it seem like they are your brothers...not only the guys in your class, but you got to know the guys in the other classes well too.

I seem to recall a number of the resident righties on the OC having a field day when Ted Kennedy died. I don't remember seeing any "respect for the dead" that day. I can forgive stupidity, but hippocracy is another thing entirely.

In all seriousness, the dudes that are rapping Rush today, tweeted not so nice things about Breitbart yesterday... Yeah, hypocrisy is a bitch when you are on the wrong side of it.

One other note....if you are going to post like an elitist, then you should spell like one.

Last time I looked, Limbaugh was alive and well. He deserves all the crap he gets thrown at him. Were Breitbart alive I would be one of his harshest critics. Sadly, the dude is dead and his views and actions are no longer deserving of my criticism or attention.

Why are you pointing out that OC conservatives were supposedly celebrating Ted Kennedy's death anyways? Dwccrew who I don't think is a conservative was calling the Rolling Stone columnist who penned the article about Breitbart a douche. Your point would have been relevant if one of the OC conservatives who you say celebrated Kennedy's death suggested people show the dead respect.

Because it was posted tonight to "show some respect for the dead". If it applies for Breitbart, it should have applied for Kennedy. Instead we had an entire thread devoted to trashing him after he died. That's why I brought up hippocracy. Apparently it only applies when the dead shared your political views.

Respect for the dead only goes so far. If the deceased while he was alive and in a drunken state runs off the road, leaves a young girl he sought to bang to drown, and then first and foremost seeks to save his own political skin, sorry no respect. Breitbart had no such history. Where is the hypocrisy?

If Mary Jo Kopechne were still alive I wonder what her take on Ted Kennedy would be?

My bad, I didn't realize Laura Bush left the scene of the accident and failed to report the accident.

Disimilar...left the scene of the accident and failed to report the accident.

Similar.... Both got away with murder.

Again, What the fuck does this have to do with Breitbart ?
