325,000 Americans die from sudden cardiac arrest each year. (not the same thing as a heart attack). Can happen at any time...and any age. Breitbart was 43...I think Tim Russert was 51.
Last month, my perfectly healthy 60 year old brother died this way while playing racketball.
My prayers go out to Breitbart's family....as I know what they are going through.
RIP Mr. Breitbart.

Sorry to hear about your brother --- sympathies.
From Matt Drudge:
Andrew passed away unexpectedly from natural causes shortly after midnight this morning in Los Angeles.
We have lost a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a dear friend, a patriot and a happy warrior.
Andrew lived boldly, so that we more timid souls would dare to live freely and fully, and fight for the fragile liberty he showed us how to love.
Andrew recently wrote a new conclusion to his book, Righteous Indignation:
I love my job. I love fighting for what I believe in. I love having fun while doing it. I love reporting stories that the Complex refuses to report. I love fighting back, I love finding allies, and—famously—I enjoy making enemies.
Three years ago, I was mostly a behind-the-scenes guy who linked to stuff on a very popular website. I always wondered what it would be like to enter the public realm to fight for what I believe in. I’ve lost friends, perhaps dozens. But I’ve gained hundreds, thousands—who knows?—of allies. At the end of the day, I can look at myself in the mirror, and I sleep very well at night.
Andrew is at rest, yet the happy warrior lives on, in each of us.

He. Was. FEARLESS.
Let that sink in for a moment. That wraps up every inch of the life, career and bravery of Andrew Breitbart.

Breitbart from the right....just like Michael Moore from the left. Polar political opposites...same agenda.

I hate to hear about anyone dying, however, how was this guy "fearless"? Give me a break. So he gave some speeches, did some commentary and wrote some articles. He was a political activist. Big deal, there is a bunch of them on both sides of the fence. My prayers to his family, but I can't stand when someone dies how the media and people go on and on about how "brave" and "fearless" they were when all they did was give some talking points as a talking head.

Sad news.I will say a prayer for his family.
We lost one here fellas. Fearless in his reporting of real news. Not a "Lohan in rehab" reporter.Kept his eye on the ball(real issues) and swung for the fences.

RIP,
Honestly shocked, but not too sad really.
I'm no fan of the political media today, so I had little respect for the guy.
Still, I'm no fan of people dieing before their time.

If you think that is what Breitbart was about then you need to do some research on him.

Let me explain him to the libs on here.
He was Michael Moore with FACTS.
Anyone who considers him merely a talking head needs to take a look at his resume or read through some of the commentary on him since his death. He was one of a kind and the establishment in Washington is breathing a sigh of relief today.

I'd like to send my condolences to wedge. I had a brother pass in early February and, although his health wasn't great, it still was a bit of a shock. As we get to the point where there are fewer days ahead than behind, mortality comes knocking.
As for Breitbart, I'll pass on making any politically charged comment. If I wanted to rip him or criticize him I would rather do it while he was alive. These days belong to his survivors and I hope they can find solace in each other and with their friends.

A fellow GA brother. Makes you think doesn't it? Some alumnae from GA flew in all the way from Fla and California for his viewing and service.
