crusier, where are your open mats that old guys are welcome to come to? Not quite an "old guy" yet, but am headed there and looking for something to stay in shape

cruiser, I am just down the road from the home of the "cruisers", where is your wrestling room located. Also.....where are the rooms for the other schools posted. I look like a creeper driving around school parking lots in my white short work van with no windows. :eek:

The Mighty Cruisers do not deal with the peddling wrestling rooms. We have a Wrestling Facility! Ahh, who am I trying to kid. We have a balcony of a middle school, that we can't claim, not even 4 months of the year. Bah!!!
Anywho, we hold our open mats at Groveport Madison Middle School NORTH, 5474 Sedalia Ave., Columbus, OH 43232. It is the second school on the left, enter through the back.
Open mats will begin April 17th @ 5pm.
Use this as a prep for the Wrestle Against Autism!!!

Wildcat (and anyone else): showing up at 6:12pm would not be frowned upon. Any and all help rolling out a section of mat would be greatly appreciated as well.
Point of note: Up at Solon, the few times I have gone, there have been about 20 or 30 kids helping roll up the mats at the end. And the thing I loved most, it was all age groups and all talent levels. Multitime state champs were rolling alongside (what appeared to be) 6th graders, who was flanked by two college wrestlers. Very nice.

Kilbourne Open Mats are every Tuesday Starting April 17th from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. Kilbourne Wrestling Room is located in back of Kilbourne High School 1499 Hard Rd Columbus, OH 43235. Last year we averaged 40 wrestlers. Hope to see you there. Free to all!

Mondays 6-7:30 Fredericktown HS is holding open mats in their wrestling room, which is also the board office building at 117 Columbus St Fredericktown, OH.
Also Danville HS is holding theirs on Thursday nights from 6:30-8pm in the HS auditorium. Both are in Knox County, if there are others in Knox, Morrow, or Richland Counties please post here or I also have another thread on this topic you can post.
