Sad, sad time for our friends in the Chardon school shooting incident. My condolences to the families, students, and community that has been affected by a nutcase.

Fly4Fun edit: Separation of Church and State is a political topic. Feel free to discuss this tragedy here. But the politics must stay in the politics forum.

WTF? Why did a Mod need to edit this? Sure there is already a thread bout this, but a Mod jumping in now?

If it's a duplicate thread you move it. The comments from a Moderator arent needed here.

The OP made No mention of church, or state. You dumbass.

Don't lump all the mods into this, had nothing to do with it and didn't see it until just now. I have no problem with this thread.

Sorry Fly4fun... Did not realize you could not talk about religion and school on this serious business thread. (Especially with all of the ridiculous, crazy crap that gets talked about here.) In fact after checking, I still do not see where it is against any rules, but no big deal.

I have made a total of 10 threads in two and a half years on here, so I am not up to speed on all of the drama/rules. I personally did not think it belonged in the politics forum, but since it did... why did you not just move it over there?

Good day! I will make fewer, and fewer posts over the next two and a half years to make certain not to cause any trouble. :)

I'm not one to pray but they are in my thoughts. This was completely uncalled for and I'd like to see the shooter suffer!

Sorry Timber, I thought you wanted your topic to just generally be about the school shooting, not the political aspect, which is why I edited a portion of it out to keep it in the forum you originally posted it in. I can tell from your subsequent post that I was wrong about that. As previously mentioned, feel free to bring up the issues of separation of church and state and students freedom of speech that you were hinting at in your original post in the appropriate forum, Politics.

Sad, sad time for our friends in the Chardon school shooting incident. My condolences to the families, students, and community that has been affected by a nutcase.

One of our pastors at church tweeted something thought provoking. "Interesting how prayer in school is suddenly OK and actually encouraged AFTER trajedy strikes."

I reflect back to most tragic incidents in the area... (youths dying in auto accidents, etc) There is always area administrators, community leaders and clergy available for youths/staff to seek help if requested. Interesting...

And I agree with everyone, the OP should not have been edited. The only time I want posts to be edited is to remove swearing in the high school forums or to remove porn/gore pics.
