Westerville residents already are paying very hefty property tax rates. I live in the district and my taxes are $6K a year. When you add the levy my property tax bill will be now be nearly $7K a year. Most people don't have that extra amount of cash to spend every year.

A second I will make is that Westerville passed a school levy not to long ago. What is in the back of everyone's mind is that we know you assholes will be back asking for more money in a year or two.

Anyone have any other ballot issues that want to talk about?

Nothing wrong with this one, I just feel like it's one that has been beat to death (and is my own fault LOL)

If you look at all the issues across the state, there really is not much out there other than a school or fire levy. I guess we can start a few pages of threads about whether businesses in Sunbury and Galena can sell alcohol on Sundays.

They need to. I want to be able to stop at the HUB and buy beer on my way home from shooting. Assholes.

Hey, speaking of sales on Sundays, are there any communities that still have blue laws? When I was growing up in Ohio (way back when) blue laws were the norm.

My hometown (New Concord) just started allowing beer sales on Sunday about 4-5 months ago.

The Model T Carryout....I remember it well. I bought beer there from about 16 on. Mr Mahaffey wasn't too huge on age verification.
