I see that most from here are already posting on JJ. Will the last guy here please shut off the lights?

I'll be checking back here once in a while, just to witness the circle jerk as it consumes itself.

I just went and checked it out... There is literally 3 posters I recognized... Sleeper, Sherm, and.... Uh, well....

Either way, the board is pretty dead still. I'm not going to pretend to know if it's going to continue to die or if it gets a revival from this, but the site is atrocious looking. Ads everywhere and the pages are taking several seconds to fully load.

It looks to me as if they went free only to shove ads upon ads down their users' throats.

And one guy has made the last 100 posts himself..

NCF perhaps? I went there this morning for the first time since the site became PayPayHuddle and I only see a few OC posters hanging out there and NCF is having multiple orgasms about a JJ revival.

Methinks I'll stay here unless they offer to pay me $12 a month to post there.

The last sentence tells me that they still plan to over-moderate, kill anything that offends their delicate sensibilites, regardless of whether a rule is violated. In other words, they plan to run the board as before, where one has to guess where the line is.

It's really not that hard:

1. Decide what the rules are going to be.
2. Enforce the rules.
3. Enforce only the rules.


This site will be fine, since they appear not to have realized that "free" isn't only a monetary term.

Yeah I won't ever leave here. I'm sure most people who you saw posting over there won't be going back but just went to check out how awful it was.... and it was pretty bad.

I also was over there, mainly to see what's up and to spam. However, I did piss off some poster named Setupman, and I made sure they knew where I stood. The grass is definitely greener over here. :cool:

So you're saying since a couple of people go over there and blow their wad and suck up to JJ it will lead to the downfall of the OC ??? Nah. If anything their HS Forums will pick up, but the ST/I Forum will never be like before. As an example this post would never make it over there because of the blow their wad phrase. Free is one thing, Freedom is different. Try your Freedom over there and see what happens.
