Haha Julio with the pick.

Still a dumbass move for Atlanta to call TO so early and leave them time on the clock, and an even dumber move to kick off like that.

Why not just try the 65 yarder?

LOL @ Pete Carroll trying to say he didn't call that TO.

Ball game.
that isn't what he was complaining about...they snapped it way after the timeout to get the practice kick in

It's probably more likely to go in than a 55 yard pass into 6 defenders.

JJ Watt spit on New England's logo during pre-game. Awesome.

Which should be a penalty. It gets called when a player kicks a ball after any other play. No different on that play.

Bad strategy by both teams late. First to call TO with so much time left before the 49 yd FG, Then to KO and let thefront line get it. Then finally Seattle throwing the pass they did when they had two TOs left and could have gone down the middle to get in FG range and called a TO. 6 sec is enough time to do that. The play they ran was worthless!

yeah, pretty weird that we have had two big time iffy things on fg attempts in two days.

I think they call it unsportsmanlike when it's during any other play.

So they must stop as soon as they hear the whistle?

There was plenty of time to not snap the ball. It wasn't as close as usual when the timeouts are called.

Ive never seen it called. They play through the whistle all the time. Should have been some sort of penalty against Seattle at the end of the half then.

I have never seen it called either, but that one seemed pretty blatant to me. I will say this...no way that gets called in that situation though....no way

I've seen a player get called for kicking the ball away after a play is dead.

I don't think the refs are gonna make that call. It's usually if they delay the ball being spotted after the play is dead. Finishing whatever the play is isn't going to be called because it's just the normal act of playing the game.

That's usually when they do something outside the normal act of playing football. Like kicking a dropped pass after the play. That's delay of game.

To me, and i didnt watch it a second time...so I may be way off...but it looked like everyone stopped on both lines(stood up) and then the holder kept calling for the snap to get it snapped.
