The noise is dominating the 49ers offense.

Tough call on the 49ers there. I didn't hear a whistle

If not for Pete Carroll I'd root for the Seahawks in the playoffs.

McElroy was sacked 11 times today. That has to be a record.

Yeah, it was a clean hit as far as I could see but since Cruz laid there for a minute they threw a flag. Sad stuff.

What about the hit on Vernon Davis? Fair or foul?

The way the raiders went after newton and the refs not protecting him shows how flawed the nfl rules are

Fair. Those defenseless receiver calls really need to be reviewable. It is hard to see in real time and screws the defenders more times than not.

Fair.

Hit shouldn't have been a penalty.

Bullshit penalty. Even Collinsworth was saying it was clean and he has no clue how they make that call.

Yeah. Seriously Bud Selig is the only commish who hasn't ruined their sport

Best Commissioners
1) Selig - stays out of the way and is increasing revenue every year for MLB even while the 'national pastime' status goes more and more towards football. He is resistant to change (replay) but I can respect that because some commishes have no problem taking a dump on fans and making unpopular, wholesale changes (Goodell)

2) Stern - number two out of default. Had the ugly labor situation, but has the NBA in a great position. League is almost as popular as it was with MJ. More stars in the league now than ever.

Tie for last
Bettman - successfully has crashed the NHL into the mountain. League is dead. Few teams are making money and they over expanded into warm climates with apathetic fan bases

Goodell - crackdown on vicious hits / concussions, replacement refs, the ugly lockout, the New Orleans Saints controversy, etc. Dude is presiding over the league in a period of unprecedented growth, yet can't get out of his own way. Without a doubt the least popular commissioner outside of Bettman right now. Funny how quiet he has gotten lately...

Excuse me while I LMAO at Goodell being last. The NFL is bigger than it ever was. Way to listen to the QQing prima donnas. You are crying about what he is doing, yet you will continue to watch the NFL. Any other league you would gladly stop watching.

The way I see it all the commissioners suck ass, except Goodell tbh. Goodell isn't great, but he isn't even close to being mentioned in the same breath as the other ass clowns.

Selig has made baseball a regionalized sport. He is failing.

Stern is pretty high up on the list. He has been doing it for so long, that he was bound to have some bad calls/stretches. But he has the NBA in very good shape right now and ratings are very high. Best it has been in awhile.

I like Goodell as well. Dont agree with a lot of his decision making, but he is being forced into the saftey thing. He is making the NFL the most watched program every single week. A lot has to do with football being popular no matter what, but the way he has changed some rules etc makes every season brand new. Teams can go from worst to first every year (if Washington does, that is 10 straight, I beleive).

Goodell isn't responsible for any of the 'good' you just mentioned. Was all happening with Tagliabue

MLB attendance in 2012 was the 5th highest in the history of Major League Baseball. The attendance has also increased two years in a row.

Sorry little guy, but if Goodell is as bad as you are making him out to be, he would have done much more damage in a 6 year period than what the NFL currently is. The fact of the matter is the NFL is bigger than it was when he took over. Nice fail.
