And no I dont think Tebow is an answer long term for any team
There is a decent point to be made to go back to Sanchez that there isnt time to fully implement an offense catered to Tebow for Ryan to fall back on and of course he has. He gives taht explanation and on its face he does have a point.
But in reality there is no reason why Tebow cannot start and you run the normal offense and use the wildcat that Tebow was featured in without changing the personnel. I imagine Tebow would be more effective if they did that then to just bring him in on certain plays to run his small package of plays catered to him. Hell, when he comes in now ya know what is coming.
What think the biggest reason though is if it comes out and inspires the team, which he did in college, and in Denver, and they play well it makes Ryan look like a complete asshole for not playing him before this. Dont put him in = he cannot make plays.
As it was stated last year..>Tebow's true attributes dont show up in practice. Hell, as a backup QB in the NFL you dont get squat for snaps in practice. Most starters take well north of 90% if the snaps. McIlroy or whatever his name is stunk in a recent game.
