I came out of the gym today to a text from my buddy saying "what do you think of Cam Cameron?" I said I didn't really care for him and then receive a text from a Ravens' rep saying he was canned. It should be interesting to see what changes in the last 3 weeks.

Boohoo my finger hurts. SMH, meanwhile other players will cut the finger off to play. Sounds like a total Paycheck Hillis to me.

tell me about it. I know of a HS kid (happens to be going to UM for football) this season who played half of a game with the edge of his finger cut off in the regional final, and because of it cannot get it repaired.

That is foolish. W

The cowboys want him for the long haul. Why damage his career for a team that may or may not make the playoffs this year. If he can't catch the ball because of a a finger do you want him on the field?

Just saw video from yesterday's Panthers-Falcons game where Carolina's Greg Hardy did his best Matty Ice impression by telling the Falcons "get the fuck off our field" after the game yesterday. Atlanta kicker Matt Bryant responded by saying,"Enjoy watching us in January."

Greatness.

So all of the bounty suspensions were reversed today by old commish Paul Tagliabue.

He basically put the blame on the coaches and the organization.

NFL Considering Expansion Of Playoffs

Dec 12, 2012 7:14 PM EST
The NFL is considering expanding the playoffs from its current number of 12.
"Right now we're with 12 teams obviously. We'll look at probably 14 or 16 teams," Goodell said.
A 16-team playoff would mean half of the teams in the NFL would qualify for the playoffs, making the regular season less meaningful.

horrible idea..these extra two teams would most likely be 8-8 you shouldnt make the playoffs at 8-8 unless you win your division imo...if they need money that bad i would rather see them add two games to the regular season.

And he'll be fining players for more and more things because of how "important" player safety is.

If they do this, it should be 14, so at least one team has a bye. I am against it though. I think 12 is the perfect number. It keeps most teams playing hard until the end of the season. We have already seen a 7-9 and plenty of 8-8 teams in the playoffs. Changing to 16 we will see more of that.

Yeah. I just don't understand why people want to dilute playoffs like that. I mean, it's dumb as fuck in the NBA/NHL when a team with a sub-.500 record gets in as the 7th/8th seed in their conference. I don't want the NFL to join that crowd.

At least in the NHL an 8 seed tends to fare much better than in the NBA. It's always a blowout in the NBA (which is why they need to return the first round to best of 5 and keep things moving IMO)
