Not at all. Kind of a strange play to have an injury. If Ngata wasn't like 400 lbs it may not have been so bad. Looked like a bear running into a thin tree trunk...crushed it.

Amazingly...the Jets play the Bills, Chargers and Titans...if the Steelers go 1-2 and the Jets win out, they make the playoffs.

If you have a chance to see it in slow-mo anywhere, you can appreciate the brutal force into the hit...I'm surprised RGIII's leg wasn't broken.

I'd say its a pretty sever hyper-extension. I've done the same to my knee before, but was able to finish out the game. If Griffin was having that much of a problem that soon, I figure he will be out next week. Even if he does play, he will be nowhere near full speed.

The New York Jets pursued a trade with the Seattle Seahawks for Braylon Edwards before the deadline following the injury to Santonio Holmes.

Edwards criticized the Jets last week on Twitter.

The Ravens fired OC Cam Cameron. Jim Caldwell, who is their QB coach in B-more, will now assume the playcalling duties. Interesting with 3 weeks left in the season...
