Hey, if making a joke makes me gay then the strawberry margaritas are fair game. LOL. These are just some lighthearted exchanges, Durkie. There are no arguments in the last couple posts.

Sober up. We'll talk sensibly tomorrow.

I'm just proving the "OMG YOU MADE FUN OF ME I'LL MAKE FUN OF YOU" notre dame argument.

Although, I'll give you the argument if that was the only thing I was drinking. But it's not.

LOL. That's not exclusive to Notre Dame fans. Pretty much everyone on here does that. Furthermore, it was just a few friendly jabs back and forth. If your intent was to come across as venomous....well, okay. But really, it's not that serious. I was just joking. You're over-thinking this. But that is to be expected in the current state that you are in so it's all good.

I think you are over-thinking my over-reactions. I was not serious at all in the previous posts.

That's good then. All in good fun, Durkie. Enjoy your evening. I would say "pace yourself" but I think it's safe to say that ship has sailed. LOL. Enjoy the brews.

Notre Dame 2012 schedule
9/1/12 Navy (Dublin, Ireland) 9:00 am CBS
9/8/12 Purdue 3:30 NBC
9/15/12 @ Michigan State 8:00 ABC
9/22/12 Michigan 7:30 NBC
10/6/12 Miami (FL) (Chicago, IL...Soldier Field) 7:30 NBC
10/13/12 Stanford 3:30 NBC
10/20/12 BYU 3:30 NBC
10/27/12 @ Oklahoma TBA
11/3/12 Pittsburgh 3:30 NBC
11/10/12 @ Boston College TBA
11/17/12 Wake Forest 3:30 NBC
11/24/12 @ USC TBA (will end up being 8:00 on ABC)

Predictions, thoughts, etc?

I'd consider 9-3 against this schedule a success (the way it looks now). Anything better would be fantastic. 8-4 would be acceptable. 7-5 or worse.....eh.....BK's seat will be white hot.

Losses likely to USC and Oklahoma. I think we're gonna split the michigans. I may end up having this quoted but I think we'll smack the shit out of stanford. I wanna see how elite they look without a stud QB like Luck.

8-4 because we're sure to blow a game we should have won by halftime.

9/1/12 Navy (Dublin, Ireland) 9:00 am CBS - Tough first game but W
9/8/12 Purdue 3:30 NBC - W
9/15/12 @ Michigan State 8:00 ABC - L Defensive battle, it'll be close?
9/22/12 Michigan 7:30 NBC - W I don't like scUM's team this year
10/6/12 Miami (FL) (Chicago, IL...Soldier Field) 7:30 NBC - Didn't know they were playing, awesome matchup. I give them a W.
10/13/12 Stanford 3:30 NBC - W who the heck is their QB
10/20/12 BYU 3:30 NBC - W another tough game
10/27/12 @ Oklahoma TBA - L Ouch
11/3/12 Pittsburgh 3:30 NBC - W
11/10/12 @ Boston College TBA - W Bollman coaches for BC LOL
11/17/12 Wake Forest 3:30 NBC - W
11/24/12 @ USC TBA (will end up being 8:00 on ABC) - L

That is one of the toughest schedules I've seen in a long time. I think 9-3 is possible but so is 7-5. I think they get 9 though.

Miami, BYU, Stanford and Navy are all games they should win that could blow up in their face.

How far in advance are they going to Ireland. Navy is not a team you want to play if you are distracted and have traveled a long way to play. Also makes Purdue 7 days later more challenging.

You can pick my avatar and sig until the start of football again. If not, I get to pick your avatar and sig, and you have to post a pic of you drinking a strawberry margarita with a caption that says "this is what happens when you bet on Notre Dame football to do great things"

This is exactly how I think things shake out. L's to MSU, Oklahoma and USC. And I do agree that there are some other very losable games on there. 7-5 is possible and would be underachieving even against this tough schedule. They have to go 8-4 but if they lose to UM, MSU, USC and Oklahoma...they basically beat only the teams they should've beat. I can handle 1 unexpected loss this upcoming season but I expect to see ND win a game they're not expected to.

Kelly's signature wins are probably the win over SC in his first season (broke the streak and did it on the road) and the bowl win over Miami(FL). He needs to add to that this season IMO.

I think that's the real challenge. Playing again in 7 days after the trip to Ireland won't be easy.
