have any of you had the "stars will align" feeling? maybe its the whiskey talking but i think the bears will win a state tiltle, with many of the other locals palying an impact on the state level

I agree, the stars are aligning for Waynedale. Their draws look pretty good at districts and I can see 6 of the 8 Waynedale kids going to Columbus. It wouldn't surprise me to see them score 80-90 pts at state. Heck, if the wheels fall off for the Bears, they'll still score 60 in Columbus. Worst case scenario is top 5 finish. Best case...State Champs.

Best evening in memory for grapplers from the Northwestern sectional.
22 still in winners bracket
All but 1 of the 56 wrestlers are still alive after night 1.
Waynedale is cruising in 1st place with a commanding lead in the team race.

Brenden, Zack, Zane, and Zeb all win semi matches. Jake Staggs, Dakota Stanley, and Brad Wardell all to wrestle in the GO-TO matches next.

Dakota Stanley and Brad Wardell will also join the others in Columbus. Waynedale sends 6 to state. Wardell wins with a pin while down big time late in the match.
