He had two sacrifices.....he pulled up almost completely on the one in the 7th....when Polanco hit his HR in the 3rd/4th he jumped up and came down and held his leg real quickly......I did not see highlight of Kershaw's 2nd inning bunt.

Regardless

Yah I did see that. He might have tweaked it again in the 7th.

Asdrubal Cabrera with a phenomenal play in the 9th inning. In consideration for POY, imo.

Logan Forsythe of the Padres made a play at second he did a full extension dive derp in the 1st-2nd base hole but towards the right field foul pole and came up and threw a laser shot to THIRD to nail the runner who never hesitated 1st to 3rd. Not sure I've ever seen that....definitely not at that level of difficulty.

R.A. Dickey on the fast track to starting the ASG.

He's 8-1 and in the 8th inning he's got a 3-hit shutout against the Nats. Era around 2.45

Braves scored on a bases loaded walk, a balk, and then when Heyward stole third in the tenth and the catcher threw it into left field to win 4-3. One of the more odd games I've seen.

Smoltz was inducted into Braves' HOF and had his number retired tonight too.

Seattle 2 outs from a combined no-hitter (6 pitchers) against the Dodgers. Milwood left with a wrist injury.

EDIT: they got it

If a Seattle Mariner pitching staff throws a no-hitter, would anyone hear it?

Eddie Murray had 20 straight years of 75+ RBI (including 2 strike seasons).....the all-time record

Alex Rodriguez just passed Murray in career RBI with 1918.

Jimmie Foxx is next at 1922
