Cowherd is a retard - I use to listen to him but i couldn't take him anymore. He changes his opinions all the time, even during the same show, and also thinks fans are idiots.

Still, you have to laugh over the criticism of being "unprepared" for the interview. She's a swimsuit model, not Gandhi.

I thought it was a weird ending. Didnt realize she hung up. He covered pretty well, but he was woefully unprepared for that interview.

this....and being unprepared doesn't surprise me--for a national sports talk show host, he makes a lot of mistakes. However, when I do listen to him, he's funny as hell when he's ripping on a team he doesn't like.


edit: I just listened to the interview,and Cowherd sounds like a complete buffoon--even worse, he sounds like a fucking perv!!!

Earlier today, Colin Cowherd interviewed Kate Upton. It was weird. He asked her if she ever gets uncomfortable with “58-year-old men” taking pictures of her. He mentioned her going to the University of Michigan, and she didn’t. And later, when he asked her if she got a huge bonus for being on the cover of SI’s swimsuit issue, she – in the nicest way possible – refused to say. Well, after it was over, Cowherd defended his interview tactics, and also wanted to clear something up: he was TOTALLY NOT flirting with Kate Upton, you guys.He also doesn’t sound like he was too happy with the Upton interview in general, does he? Dismissively talking about the idea of having her on as a “coin flip,” “Whatever,” “it is what it is” – pretty harsh since he’s talking about, in his own words, a “19-year-old girl on [the] radio.” And again, Upton wasn’t combative – she called the question about the cover bonus “inappropriate” and wouldn’t answer, but listen to it here – she’s laughing through it. Getting an “it is what it is” for that? Rough.
Not to mention – Cowherd was trying awfully hard to sound so coolly dismissive of the idea he was flirting with Upton, no? But whether or not he was flirting, he came down pretty hard on Upton after the fact. Maybe it wasn’t the greatest segment of radio to ever hit the airwaves, but she wasn’t Billy Bob Thornton either, and we think Cowherd was tougher on her than she deserved. We were, though, glad to find out that the first name that comes to his mind when he thinks of an incredibly in-shape man is Tony Robbins.

gut, she's 19 years old..so she's been eligible (i'm assuming the SI cover girl must be 18..), for the cover spot for a year now lol and she got it.

And because one person on this board didn't know she went to IU, everyone at IU doesn't know she goes there? And maybe some people don't know that because they don't keep up with the educational institutions of swimsuit models? Or maybe they don't go out too much? Or maybe they don't see 1 girl out of 40,000 students at a classroom?

I mean seriously your argument is she's not that hot because she's only been on the SI cover once and no one (false) at her school knows she even goes there? I'm thoroughly convinced you are gay. Thoroughly.

No, I've not said she isn't hot. "Hottest on the planet" is why she's overrated. It's not that everyone at IU doesn't know she goes there, it's that you've heard so little because I guarantee you wouldn't see her on the street and think "wow, I just saw the hottest girl on earth", if you even recognized her. My guess is a common reaction of people who've seen her in street clothes un-airbrushed would think "SI cover, really, wow good for her"

As for being on the cover, a fair number of forgettable models have been on the cover and lots before probably never heard of before the cover, as well. The same features that make Kate so attractive to so many are also what prevents her from standing out - by definition the "midwestern girl next door" look is more ordinary, and "hottest in the world" would have to be extraordinary. A unique or different look is what would cause someone to stand out and win a "hottest" contest while perhaps not as appealing to the overall majority as others, i.e. a Kate might score more 10's but a Kathy Ireland would get more 11's and 12's.

And I'm thoroughly convinced you've just popped your first boner now that you're old enough for mommie to let you look at the SI Swimsuit edition. I could probably pick 5 women out of any Miss Universe pageant, even Miss USA, that are hotter than Kate Upton.
