She's had 4 damn songs and everyone acts like she's the Billboard Princess back after a long absence. She's pretty smooth and pretty powerful....but her play on XM makes me crazy and the Grammys picks one of these people every few years and wears the shit out of them.

Tony Bennett will be good because we'll get to see Carrie Underwood.

I mean she is extremely talented and her album has been a huge success. Compare that to the Oscars who nominated a movie like Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close for Best Picture. It has been a commercial and critical failure, and it cheapens an award. At least Adele's popularity with the Grammy's has been backed by the critical and commercial success.

I saw a rumor that Jennifer Hudson was going to do one...

My guess is if they do one, it will be the last performance of the show.

Yeah...only the flashback of her performance....running low on time with all the stuff left. I don't think they should end the show with it...but it's been one of the best Grammys I can remember so I'm sure they'll get it right.

I think they will do it right before Paul. And Paul and his beatles songs will close the show.

Yea, I agree. I mean she died yesterday. Kinda like how MJ died right before the BET Awards. They weren't prepared for that

I'd rather bathe in battery acid than watch the Oscars

What's the difference between song of the year and record of the year?

Anything else and Tony would have to be carted off on a stretcher.

Song is for the songwriter.
