You realize in the 9 months or so since she was shot that she accomplished pretty much as much as Obama and the people in Congress who supposedly went to work every day?

The whole point of this is why you would name a ship after a congress woman who hasn't done much of anything. You name ships after military or leaders/presidents that have done something to help this country. I think this was all an Obama thing.

If that irks you I can only imagine how you might feel about the U.S.S. Quillback named after a freshwater fish of the "Sucker Family" or the U.S.S. Quirinus, a ship named after the early Pagan God of the Romans.
