I would like to try it....but I am thinking not a whole lot of it. Not because of the calories...but I think it one of those things that taste OK if ya have a little bit but anything more than that.....not so much.

Don't lie... You'd be lucky if your wife let you even take one little sip.

Nah. She may be a Nazi but she would let me.

I like your thinking though.

I know it was just an example...but this is happening.

The Oglala Sioux tribe on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota is suing beer makers/distributors for $500 million for knowingly increasing alcoholism on their reservation.

Unless the beer company is forcefully pouring beer down their throats, they should just sit and stfu

Michael Symon's B Spot has a vanilla bean apple pie bacon milkshake. Heard it's good.

The problem I have with this is not the calories, its by not using bacon they've created a shitty product. For a good bacon milkshake visit B Spot Burgers in Cleveland. They even let you add bourbon.

He's on a roll in recent "fat" threads. The company deserves the brunt of all blame.

For real bacon...I wish I could go to Tony's I-75 Restaurant in Michigan.

I'll be up north of Detroit tomorrow...but I can't hit up that place.

Here's what they do:

Pretty sure you'd drop dead walking out of the restaurant after eating that.

After? More like halfway through (unless you still have your high school metabolism).

It's probably an hour and a half north of Detroit.

I'm going to be halfway there. I don't know if I really want to do the remaining 1.5 hours (45 there and then back to where we are) tomorrow.

I'll be going to Mallie's Sports Bar and Grill AND the two Coney Island joints in Detroit instead.

While I agree 100% with all of you.

There are people who have taken advantage of those on the Pine Ridge Reservation. It's dry. But 4 miles away there are four distributors in a town of nothing. They know what is going on. They are making a buck on how the Native Americans were relegated to crap land in South Dakota (and other parts of the US too). Everyone in South Dakota and Nebraska know what those Natives are going through. Some try to help. Others sell more alcohol and don't care to help.

It's hard to help them. You can't sometimes. People will only get help if they want help. But, it's a sad place to be at -- Pine Ridge is. The county is like the 3rd poorest county in the country. The lack of education doesn't help. And people continuing to supply alcohol to them...definitely doesn't help. EVERYONE knows that the Natives buy the alcohol and then go back to sell it for a buck to others at the reservation. It's common knowledge there. But...no one has put a stop to it. They just keep trucking in the alcohol. Meanwhile, it's our money that is being given to buy the alcohol. The first of the month is an awful time to see the Natives making their trek to buy their stock.

How does that compare to Mallie's sundae? It's 1.5 gallons and is supposed to feed 20-25 people.

Pretty sure that is larger. I think Tony's was one gallon with four bananas?
The food at Tony's is lower quality but the portions are stupid large.
Guarantee majority of the people who eat there normally are obese.

So what? One size doesn't fit all - a healthy highschool athlete could easily have the metabolism to drink a few of those a week. The only "responsiblility" needed here is recognition that our diets and exercise routines need to change as we age.
