Well, I will put in my two cents worth. When we got out of the gate with 3 wins, I'll admit that I was skeptical because I thought those opponents were weak and that we would get a false impression of being a good team. Then we lost to Norwayne. Point made. BUT then we get some big wins including the one yesterday against WH. And despite tonight's loss, it is going very well so far. Splitting with WH was a great job. On a side note, I'm surprised about how Woo is doing so far this year. The4ringz must be in shock!

I think the important thing is we keep building the momentum and progress this team has made in this very young season.....like basketball, it is all about peaking at the right time and I'm sure this team would rather go deep in the tournament than win a few more games in the regular season. This is a really good ball team and actually rare here in Orrville being a football/basketball school.

It was home. A hard hit ground ball hit third base and bounced out of bounds. The batter was awarded 3rd base with the bases loaded....what do YOU think the ruling actually is?.....

Orrville beat the two worst teams in the league....Madison and Sr. You can't put much stock into those wins, but the same group started out against weak competition last year and faded. Just not sure where this premiere team concept was coming from.

Beating state ranked Tuslaw (15) and Canton Central Catholic(6) decisively should propel us into the top 20 in the coaches polls. There has been some talk about the schedule being soft. This puts that to rest. This is a team that could make a deep run in the tourney.
Oh yeah...and it's West Holmes-Ashland week. Good luck Knights. Get at least 1 win.

Ha...I was wrong. We didn't crack the top 20 despite beating 2 ranked teams in 3 days. Oh well, we will just have to prove it in the tournament.

We also lost 2 games to CF that same week...makes it tough to make a case to jump in the polls.

Orrville has added a DH Sat. to their schedule. Games are at home against Parma Padu, I believe they are 7-8 on the year but play a very tough schedule. Also as scout would say "weather permitting"
