Probably (sadly) take the wife to see it next weekend for Valentine's Day.

I told her she already say it (Notebook), but she swears it's different.

Never saw the notebook but heard it had a depressing ending.
This did not, no one dies here.
Sam Neill (Jurassic Park) plays her dad.

Is there at least a smokin hot female in the movie to keep guys occupied? I can handle a chick flick if there is some good scenery, but the ones that have uggo's are impossible to watch

It's the same premise though... The same bitch (Rachel McAdams) forgets about the life she had with the love of her life, and he has to remind her of it. I don't want to see it for obvious reasons (don't have a vagina BUT like vagina), but the fact that it's the same premise as another movies just pisses me off even more.

Hollywood recycles movies all the time. It's been long enough where people have either forgotten about the notebook or don't know about it so they'll see this garbage. It's why remakes work since current generations hardly see the originals.

Also, this is based off a true story so it isn't necessarily "recycled" even if it is similar to other movies.

I completely understand both of your points, but recycling usually doesn't happen within 5 years of each other. The original Batman series by Tim Burton for example were what 1990? The current ones with Christopher Nolan came around 15 years later.

I will be going to see this on Saturday...was watching the 49ers/Saints at a friends house and my fiance was talking to another girl there about the movie and during the last 2 minutes of the game she asked if I wanted to go see a movie when it came out. Not even asking what it was I said yes.

Not enough wolf-on-human attacks, so it's a no go for me

O really? I'm glad to hear this is based off a true story... I hate going to see movies that are not realistic at all and would probably never happen.

If it were based off a true story, Rachel McAdams would be attacked mid-story by a wolf, as they are wont to do. This is what Liam Neeson has given me, knowledge of the voracity of wolves.

I'd say Rachel McAdams is more cute than sexy.

I agree with that. It's probably why I like her so much. I'm more into girls who are the cute/girl next door type rather than just sexy.

Every girl in Mean Girls was hot (besides the dumb one). No, I wasn't watching for the plot line.

Wife is dragging me to see this next week. She'll receive payback when I drag her to see Act of Valor.
