Anyone remember that on TV? ESPNClassic played one last night and I remember that as a kid! This one had Kristy McNIchol on it and she was pretty damned good.....guess we all know why now!


They took those things pretty seriously! In one relay race I swore one of thos guys was gonna fall over from a heartattack

...talk about SERIOUS, I actually watched some of one last night and Robert Conrad (Jim West of the Wild Wild West & Blacksheep Squadron) was the most intense person EVER on that show. This dude would run over his mother to win a race & would feel good about doing it!

Vallerie Bertinelli was on the other team & she looked hot & I think Kristy McNichol wanted some of that!;)

Think we probably watched the same one last night. All I saw was the relay race and footblal game. McNichol ran a nice pattern and had a good catch on her TD.

I remember the one year when he wanted a run off against Gabe Kaplan because of a disagreement over the points that was given...Bad move Robert as Gabe smoked his ass in a 50 yard dash.

Bill Simmons did a column about that episode a few years back. It sounded epic awesome. Like Telly Savalas trash-talking while smoking a cigarette on the set. Excellent stuff!
