Normal? No. anything wrong with it? No. Born that way? Some people. I totally believe that people can be born physically one gender and chemically the other, transgendered. Do some people choose to live or behave in a homosexual manner? Yes, my sister was married for a couple of years, communicaiton major/women's studies concentration. Came to realize that she was gay. Got divorced, dated women who almost all looked like her ex. Many years later she is dating men again???? WTF. I don't care if you are gay or "straight" but get off the fence and decide already.

So, yes some people are born gay, others make a choice. Not normal, if normal is decided by comparison to the majority.

a friend i grew up with since we were babies said he knew he was different at a very young age. i was raised to accept people as they are. i was a little bit weirded out when he came out but got over it pretty quickly.

If you are born with the gay, is it a birth defect?

"Normal" is a pretty generic term that can mean a wide variety of things to a wide variety of people. If being gay is not "normal" because its statistically in the minority, then being black is not normal, being left handed is not normal, being smart is not normal, not getting divorced is not normal, being at a healthy weight is not normal, having a college education is not normal, Cheeks, Boney Bob, Cliff.....I could go on forever baby.

And I'm anticipating some response with some arbitrary number that sets the standard for what's "no longer normal" if it drops below that percentage point. So what is it? 15%? 20%? 10% What percentage of the population has to have the trait for it to be considered normal?

It can't be "normal". If it were, the species would become extinct. I would argue bisexuality, which is probably more common than the other in the animal kingdom, is more normal. You look at ancient Greek and other hedonistic cultures and you might struggle to consider bisexuality "abnormal". It's also more aligned with the basic instinct, which is really just to get your rocks off (and then the law of large numbers would ensure reproduction).

Have you ever heard of a personal opinion? Saying something is gross (or even not normal) is not condemning. I don't like mayo. You put mayo on your sandwich, and I say "gross." I'm not condemning you.

I disagree with the gay lifestyle, but I am tolerable and accepting of gay people. It is their lifestyle choice. It is OK to disagree with something, and still accept it for what it is.

“I am tolerable (someone who maybe endured) and accepting of gay people.”
Accepting of people you call Homos who are according to you not normal and whose lifestyle is according to you morally unacceptable and gross.

You can pick and choose what I say to pick apart for your own agenda. That's fine. But, like I said... I won't play your game.

The gay sex ACT is not normal, not the people themselves.

Again... you can pick what you want. What you are failing to do, however, is quote my following statement, on the same quoted thread:
