Not yet, only sectional that lacks posts. Last ones to post brackets too. They did have a lot of kids (129) and they started at 10am...

As an Official i was kinda disappointed with some of the officiating, one match in particular, was 152 a renoldsburg kid against a Canal kid about 15 seconds left in the match, action had been pushed to the edge of the mat by the renoldsburg kid, the canal kid circles so the renoldsburg kid is by the out line, drops to take a low single and the renoldsburg kids starts trying to kick his leg out, gets his leg out and goes out of bounds, ref blows the whistle and calls the renoldsburg kid for fleeing to tie the match 7-7! Is that really fleeing that mat!? stalling i might understand but the kid hadn't been hit the whole match!

Yes...the Reynoldsburg kid HAD already been hit for a stalling warning. At the end.....take your pick, fleeing the mat or stalling. I guess it is a matter of semantics.....in the end it doesn't matter....1 point penalty....tie score. The Reynoldsburg kid was stalling like crazy at the end. Of course, I look through maroon colored-glasses. However, I do think it was the proper call to send that match to OT....

I think a lot of people take circling/motion the wrong way (especially in tight matches). Its a type of set up...circle..fake..circle..fake...SHOT. In my opinion, its less stalling than standing in the center, attempting to tie up and or waiting for their opponent to take the first shot or make the first move, especially when the motioning wrestler takes 90% of the shots in the match AND SCORES, lol. I'm not only speaking of this match in-particular, its an issue I've seen many times over the years, and its very unfortunate, especially when fans/parents begin to speak (or yell) their minds to the refs in hopes of getting that point for their kid, It's unfortunate that some people don't appreciate other teams/wrestlers styles, but hey, we're all guilty of it at some level I'm sure! Keep in mind, as I said before, I'm not just speaking of this match alone, just collective observation over a long time.

when a kid has a low single on you, do you go towards him and give him your other leg, NOOOO, you try to fight the leg off, THAT IS NOT STALLING!!!

Minus a lucky throw the Renoldsburg kid Dominated the match, so i assume he wasnt really stalling to much of the match, just setting up to score more points

Pickett is a no brainer.
Wimer would also be a favorite to go, but that weight class is CRAZY so anything can happen with the bracketing.
Hauber looks really good but 45 is very balanced with alot kids at the same level so anything can happen there.
Good luck to them.
Thanks to CC for stepping up and hosting the westland sectional!

Anybody know why Meehan (Worthington) forfeited the championship round to Hall (Orange) at 220?

Possible concussion. Hit his head during his last match. Came back to finish but then starting feeling worse as time went on.

Completely agree, watched the whole match mat side and I have "colored" glasses.
