Parson's is the Licking Valley kid. He was injured in round 5 during a match with Clemmens from Highland, accidental heatbut and his tooth took a good chunk out of his upper lip. Had to leave and get 8 stitches. It was his first loss of the season and he was up 12-1 at the time.Mutt cuts;1075595 wrote: 120
1. Parada (sp?) Stubenville
2. Licking Valley kid
3. Straughter-RB
4. Lieb-WM
Nothing real exciting here, although I was impressed with the freshman Lieb from Watkins. Straughter looked sluggish in his semis match against the Stubenville kid in a pretty boring match. In the finals STB won by injury default over LV whom had been injured in the semis apparently. Straughter pinned Lieb for 3rd.

Parsons was up 12-1 in the semis and suffered the injury. He must of finished that match and got the win because the finals match had the forfeit.

Good tournament. Stubenville is tough. They will have a top 10 finish at the schott.

The crazy thing about the Big Red is they have 11 kids listed in Brakeman's top 16, but only 3 of those in the top 8. All three are either 7 or 8. I'll say this, I was very impressed with their team.USMCdevil2005;1075878 wrote:Good tournament. Stubenville is tough. They will have a top 10 finish at the schott.

No he had to forfeit the semis match but the best 2 records from each pool wrestled each other for the championship even with 1 loss parsons still won his pool on criteria.lennyrox55;1075666 wrote:Parsons was up 12-1 in the semis and suffered the injury. He must of finished that match and got the win because the finals match had the forfeit.

Man that is a tough break.....just glad that if it had to happen, it happened here and not down the road.pickupthepace;1077095 wrote:No he had to forfeit the semis match but the best 2 records from each pool wrestled each other for the championship even with 1 loss parsons still won his pool on criteria.
