Any Buckeye victory is better than a loss, but I would feel better if it was pretty decisive on the home floor. Say around 20 or so.

And big fucking deal that Matta didn't offer Burke..he knows a helluva lot better than any of us the wants and needs of his team. If he wanted Burke, he would have offered Burke-period.
I bet you Matta regrets not offering Burke now. You agree?

Nope Aaron Craft is God's gift to PGs.

His motor just doesnt stop
What he does doesnt show up on the stat sheet
Another random cliche comment about hustle players

I mean even if you're going off point guards who don't look to score first, I'd still take Kendall Marshall over Aaron Craft.

I just don't understand the obsession w/ Aaron Craft. Good player, but I'd take quite a few players over him at the pg position.

People just like to talk up hustle players that play defense. Hes nothing more than Chris Kramer version 2.0

Personally in the big 10 id take, Taylor, Appling and Burke over Craft

I don't. Hindsight is 20/20 and like someone already said, OSU has Scott on the team.

I agree. It's because you don't see many players with a "motor" like his.....lol such a played out term.

I've only watched one UM game, the last vs Purdue. They played well and I was surprised they got the W on that court. That being said I think they get rolled tomorrow. Who will stop the beast in the paint?

I like Craft. I don't feel like he is the best point guard in the country but he does a pretty good job.

I'm also happy with how Thomas has been playing this year.

Not at all. He's a good player, but not only does he have Craft, but Scott as well. Now, a year or two from now if Scott doesn't pan out and Burke becomes all-everything, then yes, he may look back and realize that he under estimated his talents. There's reasons Matta didn't offer, and whatever these reasons were are good enough for me.

I'm LOL at the morons downgrading Craft because he doesn't put up points like his 'more athletic' peers--he's one of the best, if not THE BEST, defensive player in the country. That, and he's as good as any PG in the country at breaking the press, and defenses as well. Is he the best PG in the country? That's up for debate, but I'm damn glad he's wearing scarlet and gray.

I didn't say I would take him over him. Just stating the obvious OSU has 2 viable PGs on the team and I can guarantee you that Matta does not give a shit about not offering Burke.

Yeahhhhh, but that's like me saying Withey is a viable C, so I wouldn't want Jared Sullinger.

It's a cop out...Clearly Matta missed on Burke's evaluation and I'd say even on Scott's evaluation and would take Burke looking back at it..you can have 3 viable PGs on a team you know lol

Nobody said hes not athletic or quick. Just that hes overrated by OSU fans because hes one of those lovable hustle players. He's good, but nothing to write home about

What?

I'm not saying their numbers should be similar, but clearly if Scott was any good he'd be getting more PT and more opportunities to shoot.

Then he's overrated by all the experts too. They praise him as much as the fans do. The espn guys constantly say he's the best defender in the country and one of the top pg's.

No, it's absolutely not.

OSU fans debate that, I have never ever seen any fan outside of OSU consider him one of the best PGs.

And hell I like the guy, I think he's damn good. But come on lol

How come OSU fans, more than any other it seems (maybe not as much as Purdue with Painter), never criticize anything Matta does. Like he doesnt ever make mistakes? Either coaching, recruiting, whatever? Its always, "if it was good enough for him, its good enough for me." I dont get that. Why ever have an opinion if its just going to be because the coach did it.

Now, if YOU believe something to be true, than thats fine. But to disagree with others because "the coach has his reasons" is such a lame cop out/argument. I stand by my belief that Burke would be on the bench behind Craft, but would be putting up better numbers than Scott in a back-up role. So Im not sure how he wouldnt help OSU this year, and moving forward.

It's not a cop out....just a dumbass argument. Like saying Tressel regrets not offering Eric Page.

I'm sure Matta knows what he's doing in his handling of Scott, who I'm pretty sure he thinks is 'any good'--time will tell
