At the moment he has 20 receptions for 193 yards and 2 TDs with 2:21 to go in the game. That ties Terrell Owen's record for most receptions in a single game with the 49ers back in 2000. It also effectively ends my fantasy football season.

Denver faces 4th and 18 when they get back from the 2-minute warning. It'll probably be he last chance to take the record outright.

EDIT: He got it! 21 receptions for 200 yards.

He got a 7 yarder to hit 200 yards too.

I think Andre Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald might have something to say about that.

Would you believe I have this guy in my lineup, and still LOSE the game? Unbelievable.

I would take DeSean Jackson on my team any day over Marshall.

He's damn good and he's up there--but he is NOT the best WR in the NFL. He is better than DeSean Jackson though.

I should hope he's(Jackson) only been in the league for what 2 yrs.

What difference does that make? Adrian Peterson came in and might have been the best back in the NFL as a rookie. I just think Marshall is better than Jackson--he's more well rounded. Not saying that Jackson isn't damn good--he's at least probably top 15, I don't really know I'd have to put some thinking into ranking them.

Andre Johnson
Calvin Johnson (the fact he still puts up ridiculous fantasy numbers playing on the lions tells you how good he is)
Randy Moss
Larry Fitzgerald
Brandon Marshall
Reggie Wayne

Yep. Just think there are quite a few who are better than he is. He's 28th in yards, 39th in receptions, only has 4 TD's. I know he plays on a shit team but he's not really doing a whole lot to blow people away. He's a physical freak, but I'm not sure he's any better than the guys ahead of him. Just an opinion anyways--I'm sure just about anyone else that made a top 20 would have something different than me.

Hell, Wes Welker is #11--and I don't care what anyone says, a receiver is supposed to catch balls and he leads the league in that category so I think someone could probably make a case for him being #1.

Chad is one of my favorite players, but I don't think he's a top 5 WR anymore...

I'd put Boldin, Marshall, and Colston ahead of him.

The fact that you had Ocho Cinco above Marshall gives you little credibility.

I understand that a case can be made for 5 or so different guys as the #1 WR, but if I'm starting a team, Marshall is my #1 WR. To each his own.

6. Santonio Holmes ??? Really?
Actually numbers 5-8 all seem to be a stretch.

If Calvin Johnson was a top 5 receiver he'd be putting up better numbers on a bad team. This ain't the combine anymore guys, it's the real deal.

Oh, and yes Santonio Holmes is that high. He plays along side Hines Ward and is 3rd in yards and it's not a fluke--he's been good for a few years now. Not to mention the guys above him in yards have 11 and 35 more catches. They're Andre Johnson (who I have ahead of him) and Wes Welker (and if anything he is too low on my list).
