How cna you literally do nothing but get a take down and stall and win a fight? This is mma, use your wrestling to do damage, he is giving a lot of wrestlers a bad rap.

Good title fight but that illegal knee did damage and took the life out of Dodson. DJ really dominated after that.

True. Dodson does have some pop in his fists. And showed it a couple of times.

You could make the argument that Dodson won the first 3 rounds, but Mighty Mouse really turned it on in the championship rounds. Great night of fights as always!

I wouldn't make that argument. I had MM winning the 1th and 3rd rounds, with Dodson winning the 2nd. But they were all close rounds.

Yeah the first 3 were all pretty close, Johnson definitely had the 4th and 5th.Curly J;1375360 wrote:I wouldn't make that argument. I had MM winning the 1th and 3rd rounds, with Dodson winning the 2nd. But they were all close rounds.

I thought 1 and 3 were the closest to call. I had Dodson in the 2nd and Johnson winning 4 & 5 clearlyrobj55;1375363 wrote:Yeah the first 3 were all pretty close, Johnson definitely had the 4th and 5th.

I agree with you guys I had Dodson in the 2nd Johnson in the 4th and 5th and leaned toward Johnson in the 1st and 3rd but they were close.
I went 4/4 in predictions though. I think someone else went 0/4.

I like the cartwheel type kicked he attempted early in the fight.

Taking nothing away from Pettis but Cerrone looked slow and off last night, he may need to take some time off, he has fought more in the last 2 years than anyone else I can think of in the UFC.

So is Rampage retirng or just leaving the UFC? I figured it was the latter since they didn't let him make a farewell speech. I set it to record last night and went to the movies. I ended up going out to eat and the restaurant had the fights on a big screen and it was during the Rampage/Glover fight. So I turned around and watched the rest of the fight. I was telling people Glover is a young Rampage because I thought he was 20 something and then I find out today he is only a year younger. Ha

Rampage says he is leaving the UFC, says he wants to maybe try boxing but is still going to fight MMA. Wouldn't be shocked to see him back in the UFC just for fun fights, I think his days as a contender are over. Would love to see fights against Shogun, Thiago Silva, James Te Huna to name a few. Just give him fights that will be brawls and wars.bigdaddy2003;1375508 wrote:So is Rampage retirng or just leaving the UFC? Ariel Helwani ‏@arielhelwani
Dana just dropped an unbelievable story how they were thiiis close to coming to terms with Fedor on a deal to fight Brock at Cowboy Stadium
Ariel Helwani ‏@arielhelwani
However, Fedor's dad died and then he said he was officially done. And then Brock said he was done. I can't do the story justice. Mind blown
Ariel Helwani ‏@arielhelwani
Dana convinced he told us this story already but no. You'll have to see the scrum video. He doesn't think Fedor will fight in the RUS debut
...Ariel Helwani ‏@arielhelwani
Dana said when he told us the Brock meeting went horribly it actually went well! Why did he say that? Because he didn't want to tell us. :/

Can't see him wanting to fight 3 times in 3 months and go through that tournament format, plus he and King Mo made peace recently.Enforcer;1375529 wrote:Put Hin Bellator for a fight with King Mo

Well he battered Jeremy Stephens and knocked out Melvin Guillard, he just seems burned out, and is a slow starter at times.gerb131;1375525 wrote:He hasn't looked good since Diaz whoop him

Stephens sucks, and Guillard is an enigma. He fought two top 5 LW's and got destroyed. Cerrone is more of a gate keeper to me.robj55;1375558 wrote:Well he battered Jeremy Stephens and knocked out Melvin Guillard, he just seems burned out, and is a slow starter at times.

Both Stephens and Guillard are good wins, just because you're not top 10 guys means you suck? Cerrone has come up short but he is still a top 10 guy in one of the most stacked divisions in the UFC.End of Line;1375632 wrote:Stephens sucks, and Guillard is an enigma.
