I have to admit, for the first time ever watching womens MMA, I was THOROUGHLY impressed with a woman's ground game.

Ronda Rousey looked phenomenal. I wish I had seen some of her other fights, and I am surprised I hadn't since I watch all the Strikeforce events on Showtime.

Her ground game/grappling in general is sick.

She fought a few times on the Strikeforce Challengers cards, which were sometime hard to keep track of. I don't think they were always on the main Showtime channel (although I may be confusing this with the prelims of regular cards on ShoExtreme) and they were on Friday nights.

This Friday night TUF Live starts on FX. 16 live fights to get into the house.

Also Bellator returns this Friday night as well on MTV2. It's not the UFC but Bellator is a great organization with some great fighters, and of course free!

Just got a tweet from Frankie Edgar/Dana White that the next Lightweight title match will be a rematch...big surprise!

Ugh...seriously? I am so OVER rematches at this weight level. Make SOMEONE win some other fights before they get a chance at the belt again.

I understand the first fight was good and close, but come on... show us some more creativity!

Normally I would agree but if anyone deserves a rematch it's Frankie, he has had to give immediate rematches to BJ and Gray. It clogs the division up but the winner of the Diaz/Miller fight will face the winner of that fight according to Dana.

Lil Nog hurt, out vs Gustaffson. Thiago Silva will make his return against The Mauler, hell of a fight, Silva is a savage and Alexander is a future star.

Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Saling, who had also previously competed for Bellator in New Jersey at Bellator 59, had a sordid criminal past, one that involved two indictments of sexual misconduct, and an alleged rape of a person under 13 years of age.

Did anybody see Rampage's tweets last night?

He was kind of all over the place, but basically said his next fight in the UFC will be his last... Somebody asked if he was retiring and he basically said "Just from the UFC"... He sounded kind of angry/bitter towards the UFC about something...

Rampage has always been a bit of an over reactor, he takes his losses really hard. However, he has also stated recently that he really wants to try boxing, as it's the only thing he hasn't tried yet. I hope he gets his shit together because he should at least have a few good years left in him. A rematch with Shogun should be just what he needs to get re-motivated, provided he can stay healthy.

Did they not even look at the guy? I don't need to see his record to know he's a sexual predator. Looks straight up rapey.

Have him fight one more fight in the meantime, he won a close decision against Jeremy Stephens and walked right through Lauzon with that kick. Maybe Cerrone if he gets past Stephens, that would be a great match up between two strikers who have really good jitz.
