Oh and don't forget, UFC on FX tomorrow night(not saturday). Jim Miller vs Melvin Guillard, Christian Morecraft vs Pat Barry, Josh Neer vs Duane Ludwig. Prelims are on Fuel at 6 and I believe main card starts at 9.

I can't argue with the quality of the free card either. Good fighters on there!

There's going to be a ton of free shows this year on either FOX, FX or Fuel, the UFC has so many fighters on their roster and is looking to put on more and more shows each year to grow the sport.jmog;1059231 wrote:I can't argue with the quality of the free card either. Good fighters on there!

There's still not a lot of MMA fans that have Fuel though. Dana said that problem with major networks is they have a deal in place with Fox/FX/Fuel that won't run out until the end of the year. For most of us, we probably won't get Fuel until then since it's considered a premium channel.
I really hope Miller and Barry get back on track with a win tomorrow. I believe Barry trains full time at Brock's camp now as well.

He probably shouldn't. Honestly, i don't think he has the killer instinct to climb the ladder.The_Crosby_Show;1059390 wrote:There's still not a lot of MMA fans that Fuel though. I'm not a big miller fan, i like Melvin. Hoping he gets a stoppage and a title soon after (maybe with 1 more win)

Brocks's gym is affiliated with the Minnesota MMA Academy so fighters go to both places to train. Barry trains at Brock's b/c 1. Brock brought him in 2. He struggles badly against grapplers. What better place to go for a HW fighter.Raw Dawgin' it;1059939 wrote:He probably shouldn't. Honestly, i don't think he has the killer instinct to climb the ladder.

Anyone else see that UFC 143 will be available to watch live in 3d at select movie theaters? Pretty interesting

I'm honestly starting to wonder if Melvin Guillard trains any submission defense or BJJ at all, he is way too good to continue to lose like that. Props to Jim Miller though for being tough as hell and battling back to win.

I love watching Guillard get subbed by anyone who has a ground game
. I mean Jim Miller just isn't anyone when it comes to the ground, obviously, but Guillard's ground game has not improved a lick since he came off TUF.

Yeah basically every one of his losses are by submission, RNC especially, head scratcher.jmog;1061075 wrote:I love watching Guillard get subbed by anyone who has a ground game. That was fun to watch.
Pat Barry has some serious power, if he took anything seriously he could be dangerous. Guilliard is just a disappointment.

I was impressed by the fact that Barry got out of two submissions where he was in trouble, he has obviously improved greatly working with Deathclutch. He got out of full mount once or twice as well.gerb131;1061099 wrote:That was fun to watch.

Disappointed Bang couldn't come away with a win. He's one of my favorite fighters.
He joked on twitter that it was a horrible stoppage.
