The two wrestlers stay on their feet and bang in rd 1. Shalorus finished the rd stronger and did more damage to win rd 1.

Shalorus controls the center of the cage and out powers Jansen to win rd 2. Jansen did rock Shalorus though in the rd, most of the rd on the feet again.

Both fighters stand and throw for most of rd 3. Shalorus got a few takedowns and again out powered Jansen. Shalorus should win a unam. dec.

Very close first rd. Assuncao IMO a slight edge, I think he controlled the cage and the pace of the rd.

Faber with an early takedown followed by a near choke out. Assuncao escaped and the fight went back to the feet. Faber knocked Assuncao down with a big right but almost got caught in an armbar himself. Both fighters active on ground. Assuncao throws tons of elbows from bottom but Faber controlled the situation. Faber wins rd 2.

Faber with another early takedown in rd 3 but fight quickly returns to the feet. Faber again lands a big right and knocks Assuncao down and takes control on top. Faber gets Assuncao's back and locks in a rear naked choke to win by sub!

Impressive return for Faber.
I want to see Faber/Brown III and I don't see him losing this time.
Did anyone see that weird Asian in Urijah's corner when they were announcing his name? You know that guy is a badass.

Varner gets a big takedown early. Varner locks in a strong guillotine choke and lands a few knees. Henderson weathers it but Varner is outscoring him. Fight goes back to the feet Varner takes a kick and walks away looking for some sort of foul didn't get it and avoided a charge by Henderson and gets a takedown. Henderson gets it back to the feet but Varner wins rd 1.

Henderson with a nice knee and high kick early. Varner gets in a high kick of his own. Nice leg kick follow by Varner caused Henderson to be sweeped down but right back up. Varner pushing the pace on the feet. Henderson with a big head kick and lands it but it's also caught by Varner slamming Henderson down, but it goes right back to the feet. Varner counters a takedown with a nice body combo. Varner again outscores Henderson to win rd 2.

So far Henderson a little more active in rd 3 through 2 1/2 minutes but not much happening. Henderson jumps into a guillotine choke and taps out Varner! Henderson takes the title!
