I'm actually thinking of going to this one. I have to get my wife's passport done to go, but it isn't that bad of a haul to Toronto.

I have been torn on whether or not I would ever want to attend live. IMO if you are not front row you really can't see crap and if I have to watch the monitor there to see the fight I might as well watch at home/sportsbar/etc....Thoughts from those that have ever attended a live show?

Does GSP ever fight out of the 'da? That's Canada for all those who don't know what I just said.

I went to the second event UFC had in Columbus the Rampage vs Jardine event. We had seats in the lower bowl but on on the floor and the view was amazing. The audience was made up of three types of people 1. Huge MMA fans 2. People who went for the event 3. HOTTTTTTTTTTT Women. The women themselves are worth attending. A knockout in a big fight in person is so much more exciting then any other event i have went to including the final four. I will always remember Hamill nailing Munoz. I will be attending the Strikeforce event if at all possible.

I have never seen more hott women at a sporting event then at a UFC Event. Inbetween the precard and the actual card my friend went outside into the smoking area for a cig and I decided to go with him. When we were out there the hottest women I have ever seen in persor walked up to us and asked us to protector her from the other guys. (Why she choose us I have no idea). SHe then asked us who we wanted to win Rampage or Jardine and We both said Rampage and that when she told us her boyfriend was Rampages trainer. She took us back to her seats about the 3rd row from the cage and introduced us to Dana White who was seated directly infront of her. We also met the tapout guy and a couple of mma trainers. I know Cool Story BRO.

Anyone else think that Machida/Couture is a really bad matchup?

I posted it when it was announced, bad matchup for Randy. Randy will get KO'd and he is my all time fav fighter!

I love Couture but Machida is on another level, Randy always seems to find a way to win fights he shouldn't but I see a highlight reel knockout coming from Machida. The second Randy tries to close the distance to clinch Machida will hit him with a straight left and good night. That card is looking really good though.

I'll attend an event if Brock comes somewhat close to Columbus. Same with Wanderlei, Sonnen, and Shogun.

Upper bowl of an arena you are correct. Lower bowl you can see fine. I have been to all 4 ufcs that have been in Ohio.

Oh and in 4 ufc events I have met Dana white Anderson Silva Keith jardine rich Franklin x2 and a slew of lesser know fighters. Its hard not t meet fighters if you go to the fights and attend the other events around the weekend (weigh ins etc).

Channelsurfing.net and Atdhe have been shut down by homeland security, because of Dana White.

Fuck you Dana.

I guess if every ppv wasn't 45 bones we wouldn't need those sites.

I'm sure it wasn't Dana White that made the call to sue these companies for ILLEGALLY showing their PPVs.

For sure buying this one...GREAT CARD...CAN'T WAIT!

As for those that complain about fights being $45 a pop...just invite some friends over and split the cost. It is minimal then and so worth it...even on the cards that aren't that great. We have anywhere between 8 and 15 people for every event....which puts us around $5 per person...you can't beat that.

Yeah that is what we used to do but unfortunately I have a bunch of friends who are either whipped by their gf/wife and can't come every time. I generally buy every ppv that I deem worth the 45.
