Brock can do whatever he wants after his next fight is over and I really expect him to go back to WWE after it is done.

i didn't say it'd make sense for him to, or even that i thought he would. i just said it wouldn't surprise me if he did. the money is enticing, plus it's rigged so you're career can last much longer. do you think ric flair or hulk hogan would've stuck around in MMA as long as they stuck around in WWE?

I see what you are saying but I think Brock is done with it. He seems to really enjoy MMA.

That sucks for him. Tourney for the title I would assume?

I could see a interim title fight if Velasquez is out a year. Dos Santos vs. Lesnar? Mir? Carwin?bigdaddy2003;618688 wrote:That sucks for him. Tourney for the title I would assume?

I would say Mir vs Lesnar for a shot at JDS for an interim belt.

Shoot, the times they have a belt holder coach TUF there isn't a title fight for nearly a year at that weight. They probably will do an interim fight, but just saying that they might not if it is "only" a year.

The fact that Dos Santos isn't going to wait an enitre year almost to get a shot, will most likely lead to an interim belt.

Not certain if they'll do an interim title at heavyweight. They haven't done one at LHW, and Shogun has been sidelined for a while now. I don't remember exactly how he worded it, but Dana White made a comment stating they only create an interim title when they're not sure how long the champion will be out (i.e. Lesnar's illness last year).

^^^Rashad said he would wait.

Again I could be wrong, but thought Rashaad saying he would wait was in reference to the UFC offering him another fight before Shogun to avoid the long layoff and ring rust. I was fairly certain Dana said they never really considered implementing a interim belt at 205 because they had a timetable for Shogun's recover, and it wasn't any longer than having the champion as a coach on TUF.

Actually I had it a draw too.
Rd 1 10-8 Maynard
rd 2 10-9 Edgar
Rd 3 10-9 Maynard
Rd 4 10-9 Edgar
Rd 5 10-9 Edgar
As much as it pains me to say it the 3rd judge is the only one that got it right.

Yeah it was a draw. That first round had me thinking of Velasquez/Lesnar like.
