I lived in Avon, IN for a while and saw Elijah Daniel play when he was Freshman and 1 game as a Soph. He is very talented. His older brother, Montez Robinson went to Georgia. He did not stay long. His other brother, Armonze Daniel, is a LB at Marshall. Elijah has been about the same size and speed for the last few years, but has already been a 3 year starter at DE.


As far as the talent level in Illinois (specifically Chicago), there has always been talent coming from there. I think the suburban areas have increased as they have expanded. Joliet Catholic has always been very dominant over the area schools. They have been filled with kids from the area public schools for years. Those schools used to be very small towns. In the last 10 years, Will and Kane counties have experienced tremendous growth and a lot of the talent has stayed in those schools. JCA still gets their core kids from families taht traditionally send their kids there, but there are less kids leaving the public schools now. The athletics and academics at the area public schools has gotten a lot better with the growth.
