Anyone else watching this? 1:00 on ESPN2. Akron messed up its win streak with the tie on Friday but it would still be sweet to win the NC. They haven't allowed a goal in the tournament yet, I believe. Overcast, grey, and wet over here in Greensboro, I would expect the same in Cary, although it looks like the rain has let up.

This should go in the "soccer" or "college sports" rather than here, don't ya think?

No one posts on the Soccer forum. And there isn't a "College Sports" forum. The game is serious business.

Looking forward to this game... Akron needs to stay aggressive as I agree with the announcer from the UA/UNC game that they looked sluggish once they got to UNC's side of the field. If UVa comes out and plays like they did against Wake I think that the Zips should take care of them. Got to watch out for Tchani, he's the biggest guy on the field and very skilled.

you can start to see the effects of the weather at the end of the half. definitely think akron needs to start taking more shots even if they are a little long, might get a skip off the wet ground or keeper's gloves.

Akron needs to get more offensive pressure, and agree with above of taking more shots. VA looked like they had all the scoring chances in the first half.

Things have heated up and Akron has looked more aggressive. Very physical play with both sides getting yellow cards. Friday and today have provided some great matches, hope Akron can pull it out!

Akron has been attacking more this half but still not too many quality shots on goal.

It's a damn tragedy that this game isn't in HD.

Good game...I would give akron the better of the play and Virgina the better scoring chances. Should be interesting another shoot-out perhaps?

Both teams take too many touches instead of just ripping it. Rebound chances and the wetness of the ball and field should have these players ripping it from all over instead of trying to do too much with it.

Agree, Nagbe and Bunbury are being too fancy... They have to trust what got them here

0-0 going to the second overtime. Had another chance in the box but Nagbe danced his way into the defense. Still feisty play, an Akron player hip checked a UVa player into the advertisement board.

It is really irritating watching these Akron players dance around the 18 with the ball. Shoot the dang thing!

its almost like for a championship the OTs should continue until there is a winner.

Agree, or use FIFA rules of 45 min OT before penalty kicks

I thought FIFA had two 15 minute OT's (with no golden goal)...
