Off topic but some interesting stuff...WKNR had former Browns/Giants front office guy Ernie Accorsi on recently. Was suprised that the Browns tried to move up to #4 that year to draft Eli Manning and had Manning not forced the trade to the Giants that NY would've drafted Roethlisberger at #4.

I'm going for the Giants to win it all but I just have a feeling the 49ers are going to pull it out.
There could possibly be a controversial call or huge break that swings this one the way of San Francisco.
San Francisco 20
New York Giants 17

This is a game I wouldn't want to gamble on. I think there are two big question marks which are which Eli will show up and what does harbaugh have up his sleeve. I have a feeling Eli will be on so I'll take the giants 34-17. Eli is reminding us all of how he looked his during his last super bowl run.

For real with that flag? GTFO NFL.
Once again....
Defensive players can run around like they just saved the world after making a routine tackle, but a player who just scored a 73 yard TD can't have fun? Go fuck yourself Roger.

Can any team leap into the stands, or just the Packers?

Haha yeah I LOL'd as well when I heard that. Just makes the penalty even dumber.karen lotz;1062353 wrote:LOL how do you grandfather in a penalty? Dumbest thing I've heard.
I believe any team. But not positive. I'm just basing that off of seeing other teams do it as well.mhs95_06;1062357 wrote:Can any team leap into the stands, or just the Packers?

I hope Harbaugh tells his team that the next person to score a TD has to jump in the stands or he will be playing in Omaha next season.

If this is the case, shouldn't James Harrison be grandfathered in for headshots?karen lotz;1062353 wrote:LOL how do you grandfather in a penalty? Dumbest thing I've heard.

Davis with another dumb penalty. First one was a silly rule but this one was dumb.

I'll never know why that penalty does not make it 1st and 25! When you move the 1st down marker back 15 yds too, it takes all the punitive effect out of the penalty!

There should be a decent amount of players who are allowed to horse collar and hit QBs low too

If Manning spikes that ball with 0:09 left, but members of the FG team still on the field and a flag is thrown, would that have meant a 10 sec run-off and no FG try?

Yes, I believe so. Heads up by Eli.mhs95_06;1062443 wrote:If Manning spikes that ball with 0:09 left, but members of the FG team still on the field and a flag is thrown, would that have meant a 10 sec run-off and no FG try?
EDIT: Running clock, offense commits dead ball penalty, under a minute. I dont see anyway it woldnt be the run-off. The parameters are met 100%.

Why wasn't there a 10 second run off on the delay of game? Was it because the clock was stopped?
