Browns fans everywhere wondering why Vince Wilfork wasnt flagged for a 15 yard penalty for taking his helmet off.

Thanks Pats for knocking out the Ravens. Too bad I'll be rooting against you in two weeks.

Lee Evans and Billy Cundiff need to die in a fire. Bastards.

I thought it was smith who dropped the game winner 2 plays before. Apparently I was wrong. It was Evans, sorry about that.Laley23;1062245 wrote:What did Smith do wrong?

I didn't even notice that, good point, but the play was probably dead when he took it off.Laley23;1062243 wrote:Browns fans everywhere wondering why Vince Wilfork wasnt flagged for a 15 yard penalty for taking his helmet off.
Why didn't harbaugh call a time out and allow the team to get set?

How do you know they didn't look at it and say he didn't complete the catch all the way thru no need for a review?mhs95_06;1062224 wrote:He had the catch in the endzone and took 3 steps, then it was knocked out, that was at least worth a review!
Great game though.

You can't ice your own kicker like that.like_that;1062251 wrote:I didn't even notice that, good point, but the play was probably dead when he took it off.

I know, but isnt the play always over after the whistle. He took it off immediately when the kick was missed. Stood with his arms out, the ref came over and said something to him. Next shot of him, the helmet is on....hmmmmmm.like_that;1062251 wrote:I didn't even notice that, good point, but the play was probably dead when he took it off.

Under 2:00, they looked at it, and decided there wasn't enough there to buzz Riveron.Skyhook79;1062253 wrote:How do you know they didn't look at it and say he didn't complete the catch all the way thru no need for a review?

Oh, ok. And easily Cundiff. Evans should have caught it, but that was a great strip by the defender. It wasnt like he just dropped an open pass.IggyPride00;1062250 wrote:I thought it was smith who dropped the game winner 2 plays before. Apparently I was wrong. It was Evans, sorry about that.

I have no dog in this fight. I thought the last dropped TD atleast deserved a replay look as well.

I didn't notice it. Looks like the ref didn't want to make that call in such a big game.Laley23;1062261 wrote:I know, but isnt the play always over after the whistle. Either way, it's after the play. All it would have changed is where NE took a knee, I think. Rudd's was before a whistle back in the day, no?like_that;1062269 wrote:I didn't notice it. Looks like the ref didn't want to make that call in such a big game.

They didnt look at it. They ran the next play within the normal 45 second clock. That wouldnt be enough time to view replays of the catch/drop.ts1227;1062262 wrote:Under 2:00, they looked at it, and decided there wasn't enough there to buzz Riveron.

Ahh I misread that, I was thinking he took his helmet off while the ball was in the air, and he noticed the ball was shanked.ts1227;1062271 wrote:Either way, it's after the play. All it would have changed is where NE took a knee, I think. Rudd's was before a whistle back in the day, no?
I don't understand why NFL players are so fucking dumb, and their first reaction is to take their helmet off.
