I work with a guy who's in his 50's and has never moved out. The weird thing is, he's a pretty decent guy to be around. You'd think he'd be weird as hell.

Same here. Like many others, I went to college and never officially moved back. I got married to my first wife at age 23--- of course if I had it to do all over again I would have moved back home at some point. There really is no rush to bail other than some belief that you are a loser if you are still living with mom and dad. Enjoy your relationship with your family (parents, siblings, grandparents, etc.), save some money and become a more rounded adult.

18. Rented a house with a friend, 5 homes away from the beach. Surfed all morning, delivered pizza from 4-close. Hit the bars til 3am. (I'm old, legal age was 18.) Wake up, repeat. Those were the good old days.

Bingo... went away to college but then lived at home during summers. Moved out at 24 when I finally got a decent paying job where I could live comfortably. My parents have a sweet lake house and I did my own thing with virtually no rules. Loved every second of it.
