Isaiah Pead or LaMichael James tonight? I'd take either.

LaMichael for sure. I've only heard rumblings about him from forums. Any real truth to the interest?

Todd McShay tweeting about the DeCastro pick...

Whatever draft analyzing group that works with Yahoo called him the steal of the first round and had him ranked as one of the top overall prospects. I like reading things like that.killer_ewok;1155331 wrote:Todd McShay tweeting about the DeCastro pick...

It does sound like they're interested in James. Whether they're ready to pull the trigger in Round 2 I'm not sure.killer_ewok;1155334 wrote:I don't know for sure but it sounds like it is according to the Pittsburgh media.

Steelers are addressing the offensive line in the draft though. Have been the last few years. Can't say they aren't trying to improve it.

DeCastro - A+
Adams - C
Too much baggage. Could've gone another direction there and gotten a good player without the risk.

LT - Marcus Gilbert (24)
LG - Ramon Foster (26)
C - Maurkice Pouncey (22)
RG - David DeCastro (22)
RT - Willie Colon (29)
Doug Legursky (25) - C/G
Mike Adams (22) - T
That's a young group. Other than the oft-injured Colon.

Sonofabitch, I've been busy and just found out we got Adams. I wanted no part of him. We could have gotten LaMichael. DAMMIT!

I think he'll be an inside linebacker for the Steelers.

Fast, pretty explosive hitter. He'll compete with Foote and Sly to fill Farrior's spot I would think.
