That being said, I don't want to watch a punting/FG game for 4qtrs. I'll be interesting to see how this game developes compared to the last game. This much time off usually has a pretty good effect on how teams play. Stil hard to bet against a Saban team when he has a month to prepare. And I think Jefferson is more prone to making mistakes than McCarron.
As I said, McCarron and Jefferson are the difference thus far.

The same Bama defense that gave up 27 to Georgia Southern has held LSU to 9 points in 6 qtrs and an overtime.

Pretty sure tonights game proved one thing: LSU couldnt score on the BAMA D that gave up 20-some points to GA SO, therefore Ohio State should have played in this game instead.

The Big Boys got their pants pulled down and spanked hard.

Cats is making excuses on the other thread like a Little Cry Baby Boy.

Yeah. I went over to a friend's place and a few of us watched the game, but didn't really pay a lot of attention to it. Part of that was because of how none of us are SEC fans, so we didn't really care about the game other than how it's football and on TV. But the product on the field wasn't the sort of thing that inspired us to care. I mean, we're not Pac-12 and Big 12 fans either, but we were glued to the Okie St-Stanford game.

I picked up the NC game in the 4th quarter and paid attention, if for no other reason that LSU was sporting a 0 and something about epic failures and train wrecks I can't turn away from.

Yeah, we were paying attention by this time, but it was more because of the "still haven't even reached midfield" aspect of the game than anything else.

Lol...it was pretty sad I thought to myself that by that point of the game Herbie and Musberger had turned LSU's prime directive from actually winning the game to crossing mid-field. Such high drama as a running play with Ford struggling to reach the 50.

I, for perhaps the first time in my life, was cheering Musberger when he took that Ford play and suddenly, in talking about them reaching the 50, said, "Give me SOMETHING to get excited about!" Especially since that came on the heels of Friday Night Fights, when the main event was a snoozer between two defensive-minded (ie: afraid to actually fight) boxers and the announcers were just ripping on how boring the match was.
