I'm a rookie at this (i've always just been able to take a friend's student ticket), but what is the best way to go about getting around 4 tickets to the OSU-Nebraska game? Are they tough to come by? Am I going to have to chalk up a ton of dough?
I'm not entirely sure how tough the tickets will be to get this year. I don't think the students bought their allotment and there have been tickets available to the general public for some games. If they lose a game before they play Nebraska they will be easier to get. (like Michigan State the week before) It will also be cheaper if you're willing to buy two sets of two instead of four together. It's definitely cheaper to buy them from someone at the game instead of getting them somewhere before the game (like craigslist or a ticket broker) and the tickets will get cheaper as it gets closer to game time. If there are any tickets left they will get much cheaper if you can wait until just after kickoff.
One other piece of advice is take a seating chart with you and look to see where the seats are. I've bought tickets before that the scalper told me were 50 yard line tickets and I ended up sitting in the corner of the end zone. (I think they were the very corner of 30A)
