It is my contention that although Florida did fumble the ball that OSU should not have been awarded the ball as no one recovered it during the live action after the play.
The rules were changed so that in a case like that QB fumble that a team can recover the ball after the whistle when it comes in the normal flow, live action of the play.
The whistle blew, and an OSU guy tried to get it but failed, and by the time the second OSU guy got it everyone had stopped playing because of the whistle.
Announcers thought it was wrong, as did many people that I have listened to.
I was rooting for OSU so it isnt like I have sour grapes. I try to be rational. For instance, the Herron fumble. I think they got the call right because there was no evidence to overturn it.
I know it was probably discussed in the other thread but I dont wanna wade through all the BS.
