^ I agree with that. People say Baltimore and Pittsburgh are getting old every year. It's true to a point with both defenses, but on offense they'll be set for years, and it isn't like they aren't bringing in new guys to replace the aging defenders.

Unfortunately, they're both excellently run franchises. Even when they do have down periods, it never seems to last for more than 1-2 seasons.

Guestimate on the Browns salary cap space, right now is between the mid 30/high 30 million dollar range. With potential cuts it could be upwards of $50 million.

Hmm, so Flynn and McCoy are the same age?

Honestly, for the right price (under 10 million) I'd take a shot at Flynn. Who knows.

I think we will file some holes through FA as well.

This was a tough year as I thought we were a better team than last season but it doesn't show in the win column. I fully expect us to have a good FA and draft and have a few more wins next season.

Blakmon showed last night he has the potential to be in the top tier of NFL WRs, not that he hasn't shown this before. He is a freak.

Agree. I don't think their defense was necessarily a top 10 defense though. One "glass half full, glass half empty" stat was that they were 3rd in the NFL in red zone defense. The good news is, they are stout when teams get inside the 20. The bad news is, this is very telling as to the lack of team speed. The game slows down significantly with a short field.

If they aren't in love with RG3, I'm starting to warm up to this idea.

With the Polians being fired in Indy, I think the chances of anyone trading up for Andrew Luck is a pipe dream. Manning was VERY tight with the Polians and I'm hearing that Irsay may want to draft Luck and the Polians may have battled with him over this. Manning may become available pretty soon.

Wouldn't the colts take a massive cap hit (similar to St Louis cap hit if they traded Bradford) if they trade Manning?

He has, I believe, a $27 million bonus due any time now. If they don't pay it, he's a free agent...tick tock, tick tock....no cap hit if they don't pay the bonus to my knowledge

Also side note, with Stanford losing last night and Luck potentially going to Indy to sit behind Manning for who knows how long, I bet he wishes he would have come out last year and been the number 1 pick playing on Carolina. I think Barkley should have taken this as a lesson, you leave when its your time and projected to go top 5 in the draft. Evidently he didn't learn from Luck's, or Leinhart's mistakes.

Luck won't sit behind Manning. If Indy takes him, he plays from day 1 and Manning is gone.

I have a hard time believing the Colts would trade Manning, unless they have reason to believe he won't be the same QB after his surgeries. He is God in Indy and it would create a huge fan uproar. I think they'd be more inclined to trade down and draft a QB that could sit for a couple years.

They can't "trade" Manning unless they want a $35+ million cap hit. The only way to get out from under that money is to cut him or not sign the bonus.

The money that would be freed up from letting him walk alone could fill in their roster very nicely with free agents.

If the packers could get rid of Farve, I think Indy can get rid of Manning.

IMO, the Browns need to go virtually all offense in the draft and FA. The Browns D is good enough to keep them in games. Next draft you can use to solidify both sides of the ball.

Good point. But the Packers knew what they had with Rogers after watching him in practice. Plus, I think Manning is probably above what Farve was, as far as Godly status.

Yea he is still a RS Junior. Wouldnt that screw up the draft if he just said you know what, Im going back to Stanford for my senior season. I could just see everyone going crazy about it.
