Man, I don't know about that anymore. NFC North and, believe it or not, NFC West are pretty damn tough. I'd almost give my big toe to have any one of the defenses from the West (Rams/Hawks/Cards/Niners).

I think that Griffin will be able to morph into a pocket passer over time.

The power has shifted to the NFC in general. All 6 spots are going to be tough as hell to get into.

I have heard this all the time. I will believe it when I see it.

I think it was you who said the current AFC North is turning into the old NFC West (mediocre).

Yup. I truly believe that is where the division will be headed for a bit.

I have seen more pics of Haslam involved with the Browns than I have seen with Lerner during his whole tenure.

yup. lerner just didnt care. he cared more about his soccer team. yeah he was willing to open up his wallet but that only goes so far. a lot of respect for the lerner family for what they did for cleveland. but with that being said im glad haslam bought the team and is ready to be hands on.

You also saw more emotion from one shot in the loge of Haslam than you ever heard of Lerner having in his whole tenure.

LOL that Dilfer thinks McCoy can be a winning QB in the NFL.

McCoy is a career backup QB, and I hope we can hang on to him because he is a very good BACKUP QB.

Unless the new regime can smooth things over, I'd bet he moves on when his rookie contract expires. Haslam may want to keep him around though. If I was McCoy, I'd get out of Cleveland.

After re-reading that "time for the Browns to look forward to 2013" article, if that's the case, Haslam should just fire Shurmur now. You know that with Shurmur fighting for his job he's going to keep guys like Brown, Watson and, when he returns, Alex Smith in. If they want to get a look at some of these younger guys, it likely won't be with Shurmur coaching.

I wish Shurmur would get fired or die so that I could watch the Browns again.
