So what are you guys looking for tonight?

I'll likely only watch the 1's, per usual, to see how this offense will fare. As I expected, with the addition of DirecTV we are in the Pittsburgh viewing market, so I'll have to go to my girlfriend's mother's house to watch this.

Hoping to see a "glimmer" from this offense and am hoping the defense looks respectable. I'm kinda "iffy" that we'll see both.

Not in Ohio anymore, so I won't be able to see the game unfortunately. I would like to hear that Hardesty looks good along with the line. Hopefully Weeden isn't a turnover machine either. Is Haden playing? If so, I would like to hear about how he did well against CJ.

i want to see weeden step up and show why we took him in the first round. take command of the huddle, nice throws, and know the offense. i want to see hardesty run with a purpose, see our wide outs catch the rock and do something with it. and last but not least i want to see how bad our defense is going to be this year.

I'll be paying most attention to Weeden, Gordon, Hardesty, right side of the o-line.

If BR said the defense is going to have 11 HOFers you would say it as well.

If Weeden looks like shit, I won't panic. Plenty of rookie QBs looked like shit their first game, and that includes the ass whooping Dalton received last year against the lions in preseason.

I am going to be watching this offense and the tempo....I want to see a good pace and weeden commanding the team and sustaining drives. I will also be paying close attention to the playcalling and how many times we throw the ball downfield.

Defensively I want to see what these rookies are made of and play solid assignment football.

They may not be great, but shook is making them out to be a piss poor defense. I will say it again, near top 10 (or in top 10) in points allowed the last 2 seasons, and all they have done is gained experience and personnel the last 2 years.

fuck you. just because we agree on shit doesn't mean anything. you are fooling yourself if you think we will be close to top 10 in points aloud. our starting OLB is out for the year. our other OLB is out 3 games, our starting DT is out until god knows when. sheldon browns played horrible last year in pass coverage, and Tj Ward is overrated in pass defense. don't get me wrong i like Tj but he has a lot to prove, and he has a 7th round draft pick starting next to him. last year we played horrible QBs that didn't deserve to even be starters, this is a whole different year. i think everybody is in for a surprise with this top 10 defense we have.

I think the defense will be in the 14-18 range and the offense 24-28. But that's pulling a guess entirely out of my ass. Offense a little better than last year, defense a little worse, results about the same. 4-6 wins.
