"LOL" all you want. Like him or hate him, it's something legit to think about. I've never played WR but when the poster above you confirms that it is indeed harder to catch wounded ducks vs tight spirals, I'll take his word, along with a former NFL scout and college coach (SOBO).

Probably true, but they are god damn pro athletes...catch the fucking ball when it hits you in the hands.

I played WR and agree a ball is a ball. Not to mention these a PRO WRs like you said! Tebow throws a lot of ducks, and I dont see Thomas, Decker, or Royal dropping passes because of that.

Tom Heckert really said "we moved the ball well". Was he watching a different team.

Also, who plays running back when Hillis is gone?

I think the management team put alot into trading up to draft Hardesty, but they are kidding themselves if they think he is the answer at that position. He can't take the punishment, and has broken down on every level. He is not going to suddenly flip the switch and be a 300+ carry back who doesn't get hurt.

This regime seems to be unable/unwilling to admit mistakes, cut ties, and move on when it comes to "their" guys.

I think letting Hillis go is foolish, as he is serviceable enough that we should be filling other holes where the talent gap is much larger. Letting him go just creates another hole to fill.

I hope this season was a wake up call to Heckert that they can't polish up another 10+ loss turd anymore by basically lying to the fans about imaginary progress. Listening to the fans/media, and then what comes out of Berea is like listening to 2 different languages.

Careful I was very critical of Hardesty coming into this year and got a lot of shit for it. Wouldn't want the others to get on your case too.

I think they are going to get a RB in free agency or possibly use the last 1st/2nd on that back.

That ship's sailed. It's possible, but unlikely, that he gains his burst back (usually happens the 2nd year after that kind of surgery) but I'm skeptical that he will.

Dude is trash. Total waste of a pick, I said it then, I said it after he got hurt his rookie year, and I'll say it now. Should be cut. Time to move on.

I ripped the Hardesty pick as soon as it happened (because of his injury history, not because of his ability). You just don't draft a running back who can't stay healthy. Let alone in the 2nd round. Let alone trading up to do it. Absolutely hated that pick.

That's disappointing. That's a relief. Would have been a disaster. And not especially shocked that he would praise the guys that he's brought in more than the ones who were already here.

Enjoy it because regardless of what happens going forward with McCoy I'm never going to like him as their QB. I think I'll be proven correct on that one though.

I can't really be proven wrong though..I've never said McCoy is the future or anything..my stance has always been with how often our organization goes through QB changes, it'd be nice to actually build around a QB for once and THEN evaluate him.

Put weapons around colt this year, if he can't cut it then, get your guy.

Who said anything about you being proven wrong? I will be proven right when McCoy is no longer the QB. Heckert danced like Fred Astaire yesterday when asked about Colt being the starter in 2012.

Not looking for you to say "you were right." Just want a legit QB who can put points on the board with the weapons Heckert gives him. We want the SAME things. I just think it's McCoy that is neutering the offense.

Don't think you'll have to worry about him sucking because I doubt he gets the chance. Within 2-3 years he'll go the way of Charlie Frye & Brady Quinn, career backup.

I think it all depends on the draft..if rg3 is there they'll certainly take him. If he's gone, I think they take WR OL with their first Rounders and pick up a free agent WR then see what McCoy can do.

They are going to get a QB. Whether it's through free agency, trade or the draft. I think they realize that the defenses efforts are being wasted by this piss poor offense and need a legit field general to lead them (also obviously need weapons, your boy Sanu? :D). If it's a 1st rounder (QB), that guy (whoever it is) will be the starter.

I've seen anywhere from late first (30th to SF) to top ten pick in the second round. So idk. This is a WR heavy draft and a weak RB draft so I think WRs are gonna fly off the board, and early.

I know a lot of you would be against this, but if blackmon is their with the 4th pick, I wouldnt stop there...I'd go another WR with either the 22nd or 2nd round pick.
