I've said for a while outside of 1-2 programs, the Pac12 is horrendous. The conference is 0-3 in their bowl games with four more to go. Looking at the four remaining games I only see them pulling out maybe one win (Oregon over Wisconsin but that is no gimme). Arizona State lost to Boise 56-24 and Wazzu gave up 67 tonight. UCLA could be facing a 6-8 season when it is all said and done.

I'd rather not watch one extreme or the other but, if I had to pick, it would be a Baylor/Washington-type game. I love defense as much as the next guy but not to the point where people start to die of boredom. I have a hunch, though, that the next LSU/Bama game isn't going to be as low scoring as the previous edition.

I would love for OSU to have an explosive offense that is capable of scoring a ton of points but I would not be pleased if the defense regularly allowed 40+ points to any offense capable of completing a forward pass.

I'm not so sure it's just the Pac12. This year seems a lot like '07...there are more teams down than up.

IMO, Keith Price just entered the 2012 pre-season Heisman discussion after last night's performance....23 of 37, 438 yds., 4 TD's-- helluva game!!!
