10 people complaining about gifts are going to make you depresed about the future? well then you are a pussy.

I don't think it's just about gifts. It's the magnitude of the gift. Complaining about not getting a car is crazy. It's not exactly a normal gift.

I'm not defending my generation. I think most of us are whining, liberal yuppies with a sense of entitlement as well. But if you want to use the "entitlement generation" label, it belongs with the baby boomers and you can take that to the bank.

huh? I'm just agreeing that every generation has their share of spoiled brats--it's just that with FB, Twitter, blogs, etc., we know who they are and how they feel. Please, explain how my reply makes me either a Baby Boomer or perfect?

Sure, every generation has its spoiled brats. Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid are the epitome of entitlements, not little Johnny getting iPads from his parents.

lol--there you go again, putting words in my mouth. I didn't label any generation as "entitled", and as I told you on another thread, I certainly don't feel a sense of entitlement--at all. I was just smh at your blanket statement, because for a supposed educated individual, you sure make some ignorant generalizations. That's all.

Oh, so 4cards was not making a generalization either? Interesting.

And my blanket statement is true. I don't see any Baby Boomers willing to forgo Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid or return any of the money they've pillaged from future generations.

Interesting perspective. There's no doubt in my mind the boomers have put money into the system. There's also no doubt in my mind that they've over promised and underfunded the system too. My generation will pay into it, get nothing, and live a far lower standard of living because of it. Enjoy!

Find me a gym teacher that's as big a pedophile, gay-band loving, gay visor wearing, making fun of special needs kids, bigoted person as much as you.
